Rust-Oleum Quick Prep 3-in-1 Cleaner Degreaser and Etch, Gallon

Rustoleum products are simply outstanding! This worked amazingly to clean a 14 year old garage floor which hadn't been looked after by former owners. Lots of greas, oil and rust stains. Cleaned and etched perfectly for the Rustoleum Rocksolid surface.

works well after sweepi g amd washing with a wire brush on concrete. I used the wire brush for the initial liquid treatment which helps it get into the nooks and crannies amd used the brush again during the rinsing process. surface is clearly improved after treat,ent and absorbs pai t well. coverage is about 200 square feet per jug.

This product is necessary and needed for any diy epoxy resin flooring projects. Its the base of the subfloor product that you need to clean off the subfloor prior to doing your epoxy primer and so forth. The container is easy to carry with a large cap that twists off easy too. Once applied with a hard brissle brush and washed off, the product dries quickly. It helps with stain removal and scratch resistance. Works well with primer and quality for sure.

You really have to put your back into it scrubbing with a heavy brush. Foams up a tiny bit initially with a Low VOC. But did not clean as well as expected. Meh

Perfect for job

I used this product before doing epoxy on my garage. I won't say that this product made the floors look bad but I also don't know if it worked as expected. I did not have the reactive reaction like other people but it was a brand new garage. Either way it didn't really seem to make a big change in etching

as recommended by Rust Oleum Tech Support in a phone call, this material will make the surface of a concrete floor porous enough to have a coating of epoxy or polyacrylamide stick properly to the concrete. We followed the instructions, applied the material, used a pressure washer to rinse, and applied a second time. Looking at the concrete after this treatment you can see and feel the improvement in roughness of the surface.

Half gallon of product and half gallon of water. I deff bought more than I needed but works great and cuts out all the extra steps. Follow instructions which are easy to follow and you should have no issues.
