Q: How much weight can they hold as it says 440kg on pictures but 150kg in description

Seems robust but 150kg seems OK. Wheels are fixed to plastic platform with screws directly into plastic!

Q: How do you get items onto the platform: is there an incorporated lifting facility?

No, you have to lift your items on to it. I use mine to move plant pots around.

Q: Hi does it have a ‘Brake’ option? So when the wheels are standstill can I put a brake lock on so it doesn’t move?

I wanted to be able to move the filing cabinets separately so did not screw together. However any nut and screws that is the right length and thickness would be suitable.
