which size should i get for my 4 year old to use?

I would get the smallest size they offer - maybe a 6 oz glass?

Are these 100% free of cadmium, arsenic, antimony, mercury, and barium oxide?

I don't know the chemical make up of these glasses, but I do love the strength of them, the ability to stack them (2 high) and how they feel in the hand.

I bought the 4 5/8ths glasses for my juice glass. Just the perfect size for me.

At the DuralexUsa Home Page the description states 3.1oz while this one at Amazon are 3-3/4 oz. Are these the same exact items?

My apologies - the ones I bought were a gift, so I can't measure them for you, but it sure sounds like the same ones. Hopefully someone else can weigh in with a better answer for you. They are terrific glasses - I got them for my son and he loves them. Your question reminds me that I was going to upgrade to these for myself, but haven't done it yet.
