Not like candy, but not bad. It reminds me of orange flavored children's aspirin. I have been caught without water a few times. I chewed them up with no problem at all. It does not taste terrible like Dramamine. There are 2 types of motion sickness medicine. I swear by and always travel with every where. One is Bonine and the other is MotionEaze. I live in the mountains and drive very bad winding roads. I also fly to the tropics often for island hopping. So I deal with car sickness, air sickness and sea sickness. Bonine is great, because you can take it any where and it lasts for 24 hours. Great when I am flying to Philippines and in the air for long periods of time. Or when I am out island hopping all day. MotionEaze is the only motion sickness medicine. That will work. After you are already sick. It is all natural and you rub a drop behind each ear. It is all natural ingredients.

Q: What are the actual ingredients in each tablet?

I swear by Bonine and never had side effects. I think it is the best motion sickness medicine. I island hop in the Philippines a lot. Bonine always works for me. Unfortunately I do not know the ingredients. My daughter avoids chemicals but is prone to motion sickness. So I get her MotionEaze. Which is all natural ingredients. It works but not as good or as long as Bonine. All motion sickness medicine I know of including Bonine, must be taken prior to traveling. Except for MotionEaze which will work after getting sick. I always carry some on me. For those who get sick on the ferry boats in the Philippines.

Q: Does it last 24 hours because it says once a day protection? If I took it at 8 am, will it last until I go to bed late that evening around midnight?

No, unfortunately it does not. I would recommend taking it every 8-10 hrs. If not more. It did not cause any drowsiness for me. Be sure to take it at least 30-45 minutes before you start to travel or do whatever it is you're doing. If you take it too close to your departure time, it will not work. It doesn't work if you are already motion sick, so I would recommend taking before it wears off.

Q: What is the expiration date on each box?

My boxes are gone, but I can say that they come on a foil sheet with plastic-like bubbles for each pill. Personally, I have no concern for their potency.
