One is always hesitant to fully believe reviews on items - as these can be written by competitors - or users can be bias with false expectations. Having owned electric shavers for many years I had grown accustomed to continually repurchasing the same Philips or Remington travel shaver every 2 to 4 years. This year I decided to try this Wahl Travel Shaver and my only regret is in not making the purchase much earlier. I have been using this shaver for two weeks now and it is in a class of it's own. The shaver has so far only been charged once. Charging is easy. The adaptor is in the plug - the led on the shaver is red when charging and green when charged. Easy! Using the shaver is simplicity. The shaver does the job it is designed to do admirably. No discomfort or wounds afterwards and it shaves! The shaver has a good heavy solid quality build and is so good that I now use the "travel shaver" daily as my only razor. It doesn't take very long to shave! The shaver is quite noisy - but that is more an indication of the excellent build quality and power from the rechargable battery. I was initially hesitant to change brands - but am really glad I made the switch. This shaver gets 5 stars! My old shaver if bought new would now only get 2 stars - such is the realisation of the improvements in travel shaver design. If you are looking for an excellent quality shaver at a reasonable price - without any bells or whistles then I for one can fully recommend the Wahl Li Compact Travel Shaver.

Although this is a smaller (travel) shaver, it’s that good I don’t think you need a larger one. Battery lasts forever and it’s tactile and shaves really well. My dad got one on my recommendation and he loves it. I even got one for my hairdresser wife (for fades, innit) and she loves it too.Recommended!

Great travel shaver, I think it works well and shaving doesn't take too long. Use a trimmer if your beard is long and then get a clean shave with this. You don't have to use it as a travel shaver; you can use it as your regular one. Quite noisy though.

Bought this over one year ago and been using 3 to 4 times per week. No issues with reliability and only charge about once per month. So far, I've put a few drops of oil on the cutting blades, but only about every 6 months. Gives me a close shave although I have to persevere under the chin or it leaves a few trailing whiskers. It still works well, in fact no change from the first day. If it ever breaks down, or gets blunt, I will definitely buy another one as at this price point it's a bargain.

This shaver is super gentle on my skin. No nicks, no redness—just a clean shave every time. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold, even for longer grooming sessions.

Will not charge after only a months use.Worked well until then.

Small and convenient and great shave

Needed a light, travel shaver. This shaver cuts really well for the size and price. Has a good battery life and is easy to clean. Be careful when removing the foil covers for cleaning as the insides can come loose and springs get lost. It is easy once you get the hang of it but I nearly lost the springs twice in the first week.Pair this with a USB charger and it makes a really convenient travel shaver.
