I opted for the caged fan because my light fixtures is not centered and is close to the wall so I didn't want to have an issue with blade length. With a traditional fan with blades I always worried he would get hit if the was changing and it was on. A couple times it was close. Having a caged fan prevents this problem. We installed it in our kitchen because we needed a fan and more light. The industrial caged ceiling fan looks very contemporary industrial style and it was just the look I wanted! Installation was easy.The fan is quiet and provides a good amount of airflow. The remote provides 3 speed options..Very happy with my purchase.

We purchased this light for a basement apartment with drop ceiling and it has worked like a dream. It is very lightweight and beautiful. It was fairly easy to install, just make sure you pull the screws as far as they can go or you will not be able to mount it. The struggle was real until we figured that out 🤭. The remote is great and works very well. The fan keeps our room pretty cool, we have not needed to set it any higher than low. Really an excellent product all around 👍

I love this fan and it fit the decor of my new kitchen perfectly. The only downside is that it is significantly louder then the traditional ceiling fan I had in the same spot previously. It sounds like a box window fan to compare. Still love it though!

Love the look of this fan, but the settings are all the same. Low is the same speed as high. We have had it for two years in a summer cottage. We have used it maybe 20 times in the two years and one of the fan blades broke right off. Needless to say, the fan no longer works!

This fan / light is beautiful. I am using it over my dining room table. It gives lots of light & looks stunning. The fan seemed powerful & quiet as promised. I will know more when I use it in the warm months ahead. I don't really need the remote control as it is connected to an off/on/dimmer switch on the wall from my previous fan. Overall I am very happy with this product!

We had some renovations done and this light/fan we bought for the living room; my husband was expecting me to purchase a traditional fan but I wanted a more modern look. This fixture is a beautiful piece of art but also functional and it cools the entire room.

Worked great one night and doesn't t the next.I can't live without a ceiling fan. So not worth the money for 1-1/2 years
