Mineral Lotions

Goes on smoothly. Purchased mainly for the ingredients, which includes a skin preservative. I already stocked up for the summer with a second purchase, since I wear everyday, regardless if it's beach weather or not. In fact, plan on using all year round, as I have with another Oar+Alps product. In general, the company makes great skin products, body wash, etc.

prefer to use natural products on my skin and this is the best sunscreen I've found. Provides great protection from the sun

I love all of their other products, but not a fan of this particular sunscreen. The odor of it is overpowering, and it will linger long after it used. I'm sure it is an effective and high quality sunscreen, but you won't be able to get rid of the smell of it for a while. It seems like it is much higher SPF due to how dense it is and the strong odor.

Mineral sunscreen that blends in - do I need to say any more?! Extremely impressed with this product and cannot wait to use it all summer long!

I don't care for the smell but it's extremely faint. The price seems fair for the fact that it seems to work fine and goes on smoothly. No PEG -which sadly is harder to find than should be! I've had no icky feeling/brain fog/nausea after applying this compared to my usual reaction to sunscreens with PEGs and other toxins. I tried a blue aerosol can by this brand and didn't care for it. My husband liked it but it reeked of the propellent, so I took a chance on this one instead. Well done Oars & Alps! I am likely keeping with this brand.

I like putting this sunscreen on my face knowing that it doesn't have the harmful chemicals in it. I went out fishing on the boat, on a sunny day and applied this sunscreen on my face but forgot to put it on my neck, when I came back, I noticed that my neck was all red but nothing on my face. It does work well, it feels dry and leaves a some white residue, so I apply my moisturizer (basically an essential oil mixture) first then the sunscreen.
