8gauge wouldn’t be enough. You could get away with 4 gauge OFC for a short run. These amps are very power hungry

If you have a pair of the SD-3 10's with the dual 2 ohm coils, then you're gonna be running those in a series/parallel configuration for a final 2 ohm load. You'll want an amp that puts out a little over 1000 watts at 2 ohms. Consider the new SIA-1250d, that's a better match for the subs.
