Incredible Sound
Sound quality, comfort and the app are perfect. I own a pair of Bose headphones and a pair of Beats earbuds. These headphones blow those away.

Great headphones
This is our second pair, and my husband swears they have the best sound. Great audio quality, comfortable to wear, and solid noise canceling.

Horrible
Unusable. They creak and make a lot of physical noise every time you move your head at all. Just Google "PSB microphonics". If you're into staying perfectly still while using your wireless headphones then I guess you won't care about this. The ANC isn't great, certainly not comparable to anything by Sony or Bose. The sound is fine, but nothing special, especially for the price. I love that these have a replaceable battery. Unfortunately everything else about them sucks.

Both bluetooth and wired (useful in plane travel)
rechargeable batteries or regular batteries AAA can be used, easily connect to devices, comfortable, folds nicely, nice case, much better than 2013 version

Incompatible with Macbooks
The bluetooth feature on these headphones is incompatible with Macbooks, it does not show. It does however work on Android and iPhone devices. The muffs are comfortable, and the noise cancelling does seem to be effective. The joints are stiff, so sometimes when you fold them to store, you get the impression that you might break it bending them but you won't. That's just how stiff they are. I thought the sound quality was average.

Old school Power
Kinda reminds me of a 78 Corvette vs a Datsun 280z NAD vs Pioneer Pure Power vs tech. Certain headphones are electronically tuned to sound better sometimes because the materials used are cheaper and they are trying to compensate. These PSB's are not one of those. These headphones sound like top-of-the-line speakers. They have actual switches, not hit-or-miss touch controls. These headphones do have a Multi-point connection I'm connected to my phone and PC at the moment. These headphones when purchased need the PSB Headphone App from the Google or Apple Playstore for a firmware update that needs to be installed for the NC to work. Once you download the app you connect to Bluetooth on your phone and then update the firmware after you click on the top left corner then after that your firmware will be installed. Then it will ask you to set up your PSC which will run you through a set of tests to get the best sound by asking if you hear a series of beeps for the left and right ear. I felt my 55 years when I couldn't hear about 1/3 to half of the beeps I almost wanted to cheat and say I did. Anyhow after the test they make a profile that's best for you. I still wish there was an equalizer in the app, but oh well. I do think after they compensated for my lack of hearing the sound profile sounds better with it than without. I have a ton of headphones Sony 1000s xm4, Know Calms, Technic 800 AH their newest, Beats Studio 3, Beoplay H4 2nd Gen B&O'S. The PSBs sound the best. Now the qualifiers and the Hmm. One no-equalizer in the app for phone or PC it could make the headphones sound even better. Two the NC is only ok not nearly as good as the ones I listed though the H4s don't have it and the Technics is glitchy. Three battery life Kudos for it being rechargeable and replaceable AAA batteries, but 25 hrs these days is Subpar for example Sony has 30 hrs, and Technics a whopping 59 hrs. Four comfort these are ok for comfort, but aren't all day and surely not Lambskin comfort like the H4s. My conclusion Yes I'd buy them for 399.99 the build quality is outstanding Metal hinges, Physical buttons, Leather headband, it has the Codecs you can use AAC, lacking LDAC support, but most of the hmms could be added in future software updates. These headphones come with a 2 yr warranty.

These are exceptional headphones in my opinion. They sound superb and the app which will taloir the frequency response to aged ears like mine was the real clincher for me. After the test processes you can really hear an improvement in sound quality. The app calibrates each ear independently. I've noticed my right ear has some degradation that becoming more prevalent and the app took care of that. They sound pretty good with the app set to off as well but huge gains in quality when enabled. I have the wired non app version of these that still work perfectly. The ear cushions have seen better days and getting tired of the wires getting tangled so picked these up when they went on sale. A real bargain at $299.00. Comes with a nice hard shell carrying case, cables and a few adapters. Sadly no replacement cushions which came with my old wired version.

I quite like the calibration feature. I have only given 4 stars as I'm waiting to put the noise cancelling feature to the airplane test. Otherwise it is 5 stars for sound quality.

The sound quality is superb, as it was on the original M4U 8. Like really, really incredible. The brown color looks fantastic. I love that it uses replaceable and rechargeable AAA batteries. The noise cancelling is effective but not mind blowing. However, I've experienced numerous issues with the build quality of the headphones and the included travel case. For the headphones, there is a plate over the exterior of the cups which has been falling off. There is a hinge inside one of the folding arms which has broken loose. Additionally, they occasionally drop their connection with a harsh sound before restarting (this seems to happen more frequently when connected to both my laptop and my phone). The carrying case has a metal logo, which has come unglued and fallen off. I had the case replaced under warranty, but the same issue arose with the replacement.

Ordered them a month and a half ago. worked great loved them but last week the ANC on the left ear amplifies the exterior noise instead of keeping it out. Got to figure out how to exchange them.
