Premium Solid Seat Insert for Wheelchair, Foam

This was a product I had been looking for. Makes wheelchair seat more level which is more comfortable for me...instead of having the seat curve up around my hips. I did trim the right and left edges to assure the edges stayed even with no upward curve. Easy to do.

While it did work in leveling the seat for a few weeks, it then started sagging, to the point of almost pinching. We had to put an actual piece of plywood across it.

Nice solid insert to flatten the seating surface of my wife's wheelchair. She is quite satisfied with how it works.

Thus made our wheelchair much more comfortable.

This type of product needs to be thicker than they typically are [per looking at similar product]. This particular one hasn't made much of an improvement. A section of it tore at first use.

I was in a wheelchair for a few months this summer. I bought the chair and some other accessories from Amazon. This pad helped with comfort, a lot. Just a caution, I’m a tall guy (probably a lot taller than the chair was designed for) and adding this pad meant my butt checks were half way up the handlebars already. I wasn’t uncomfortable but my therapist warned me about it.

Got this for my Mom, the seat in her wheelchair sags a bit and was uncomfortable after a period of time. This stiffens and levels the seat, put a pad on top and now it's great. Side benefit, makes the seat a bit taller and easier to get out of as well.
