Have a larger framed, 12 year old GSP that has developed joint and hip issues as he's aged. Still moves great but for shorter and shorter durations. Started him on these treats to see if they'd help him be a little more active. He was on a different glucosamine supplement that I felt wasn't working any longer for him. Wow. Surprised at how much he loved these and how fast they seemingly helped. Give 3x daily (70 lb dog) with meals. MSM, turmeric, Yucca Schidigera and glucosamine are excellent joint supports/inflamation relievers (the major reason I tried this particular product) and this being a non-GMO, non-wheat, mostly natural ingredients product, I'm totally comfortable giving them to him. He's more flexible and mobile when getting up and during walks. Seems far more interested in moving around and quit licking his leg joints while laying down. I would recommend them for older & larger breed dogs that have a propensity to joint issues anyway. During research, this particular brand was in the top five on a few sites for ingredients, value, and results. Wish I had found earlier. While there are other good quality brands available, this particular one has so many things going for it, it's hard not to say save yourself some time, skip the others and just buy this. Your dog will love you!

I have a Rotty that will be 5 years old in December. We get a workout in of about 1-2miles each day to stay healthy. He is on a high quality protein dog food, but I admit, he does have cheese sausages and pig ears regularly for his treats lol. He mostly does free run/sniffs while I do my structured workouts because I don't want him to get bored. I noticed a couple years ago that after we would return from a workout, he would begin to limp on his back leg for a little while, then would be fine within the hour. Now, it's his left front leg that seems to be a bother. I don't know if it is arthritis or what. The doctor said he is healthy and to keep him active is the best thing for him as he continues to age. It's still worrisome to seem him limp a little though. So I order AtivFlex to help him out. He didn't really like the smell too much in the beginning (neither did I) but now he will eat them with no problem! It's only been a few weeks but i can definitely tell it is helping him recover faster. Like he will be sore in the morning before the workout, even though he doesn't seem to notice the soreness when he spots a rabbit that needs a good chasing lol. However, post workout, he will immediately lay down on the wood floor to cool down, he may get up after a fe motives and limp but he definitely is ready to go again sooner than before the AtivFlex I'm sure that with more time for him to adjust to it he will have even more improved results. Also, I should note that I started him off with 2 pills for week 1, then 3 pills until now. I wanted to make sure he didn't have any side effects to something new, and he does not have any at all. He's roughly 115lbs of muscle so when I start a new package for next month he will be on the full recommended 4 chews/day for his weigh. Definitely will be placing another order soon! Great product!

The tumeric produces a very strong smell but surprisingly my picky dog will eat these like a treat.

I was skeptical about this product at first but this was the best thing I've bought for my aging dog. He's 12 and has issues with his back hips. He was stiff and groaned a lot when moving, especially when getting up or laying down. I was willing to try anything to help him out without giving him a ton of medications. I didn't want my poor pup to be drugged up. Long story short, within a few weeks of taking this supplement he began moving better. His back end didn't even seem to bother him anymore when standing or sitting. It was a huge change. The groaning stopped and he's been a very happy and active dog. I make certain to give this to him every day now and I keep the time I give it to him consistent. It took some time to see the results but they were well worth the wait. Update: So far, I've been giving them these supplements for three months and I'm still very happy with the results. He's still getting around great. I would highly recommend this product.

((My little Bear dog could not get up and walk, we were carrying him outside to go to do his business. He couldn't lift his leg to pee, he would fall over. Now he is going up and down steps.)) This comment was 4 years ago and here we are today 9-29-23... My little bear passed away from old age a couple of years ago. BUT, my other dogs, Ginger and Gator, are now taking this and depending on this today. They are both up in age and I would do anything to keep them mobile. I can not image running out of this joint supplement. I try to stay ahead on my orders, so I am sure to have it on hand for my furry babies in the future. Running out of this medication would not only hurt them, but I would get so upset if they couldn't get it, my blood pressure would also suffer from not having it on hard and worrying about them.

I rarely write reviews, but I'm so grateful for this product that I felt I had to. I have a Brittany, when she was 3 we found out she has hip dysplasia. By the time she was 4 she took little longer to jump up into the car, and I noticed her significantly limping just about every time we did something active for an extended period of time. I didn't want to turn her into a lazy lap dog because she loves to run so I started researching options and even considered hip surgery at one point. Eventually I decided to try supplements, and started her on ActivFlex about a year ago. Well she is 6 now and running more than ever with no issue! It took me about 2 weeks to notice a difference, and a few months after giving her daily supplements we spent a weekend in the mountains where she must have ran hundreds of miles and didn't limp once! I'm so glad my happy energetic girl is back and feeling like herself again. If you're on the fence just try them out, it's well worth the $30 and 1 package lasts me about 6 weeks giving her 3 chewables a day.

It's been a couple months now and I'm assuming it's helping our 12 year old Labrador. She had one ACL operation at 4 years old and the other knee went about 6 months ago. She favours the injured leg but hasn't stood tripod yet. I researched the ingredients, prices and quantity of all available supplements and found this to be to my satisfaction. Chose the chicken from other negative reviews. Our girl limps but seems to be pain free.

While the efficacy of this product for my dogs remains uncertain, they appear to enjoy the treat. The price has nearly doubled over the past few years, and I will likely explore more cost-effective alternatives if this trend of increasing prices persists.

I have waited enough to write this review. I am so disappointed as I really wanted this to work for my dog, but it seems like my dog is allergic to something in it. Every time I try to give at least one to my dog in a day she’s throwing up for the next two days we’ve given a break for a month and it still is the same. I’m so disappointed that now I will not even get a refund as I passed my return window.
