This thing works! Don't waste your money on cheaper solutions, or more expensive ones.
I bought this as hurricane prep, because the last major hurricane we had roll through southwest Florida took out our cable internet for 4 months. Well Ian just rolled through, and here we go again! Rural living and there is barely cell service outside (like you need to go up on the roof and hold the phone above your head with your fingertips to send a text message). Normally we have gigabit cable and use WiFi calling and all is good. But when the cable goes down, especially for 4 months, it's carrier pigeons and smoke signals. I've purchased other boosters for half the cost of this one in the past, and ended up returning all. Often they only support one or two frequencies only, inside range is restricted to right next to the indoor antenna or the same room, and outdoor antenna aiming is a guessing game requiring a compass, Cellmapper app, and a steady hand. This device solves all those issues and I wish I had bought it earlier. The free app allows you to easily adjust the antenna and see the results in real time, even when up on a ladder away from the indoor unit, so there's no guessing. Perfect alignment in minutes. As you can see, my signal levels are barely in the acceptable minimum threshold for this unit to work, yet work it does, and very consistently and reliably. And compared to more expensive units, it automatically amplifies all the carriers simultaneously, instead of locking to a single one. And one of the biggest issues with repeater units like this, signal loopback, is essentially a non issue with this unit. It gives you a clear indicator light to warn of loopback until you get the placement right, and even indicates various degrees. It's the only unit I've found that will allow the average non-pro installer to get the most out of it and tune everything perfectly, and do so in minutes. Installation was an absolute breeze and all hardware and cables needed were in the box. Customer service is excellent, with instant answers from a live rep (even followup phone calls and a direct contact number, no automated prompts). You won't need it because it's so easy, but if you do, they are there and they'll contact you to make sure everything is good before you get a chance to contact them. For now I just threw this thing together after the hurricane, but I will be doing a proper permanent install soon. But ultimately, it's performance that matters. I went from no data (calls only) on Verizon to consistently over 50mbps 5G on barely any signal outside, and that's INSIDE my 2700 Sq ft home without even the secondary indoor antenna hooked up (just the main unit). And I went from sometimes (when I stand near a window) 1mbps T-Mobile 4g in the house to 15+ mbps 5G consistently. Both connections are now strong enough to make and hold a phone call from anywhere in the house, and can be used for data and hotspot in case of cable outage. And it improves the battery life on all my phones while they are home, since they don't have to work as hard to constantly hunt for a signal. And best of all, unlike WiFi calling or those cellspots that the carriers send you, it doesn't depend on home broadband to work, and it transitions active phone calls from tower to repeater and vice versa flawlessly and seamlessly without dropping the call, which is important if you live in an area where you have cell signal outside but not in and don't want to lose an active call every time you step into the house. If you live in the middle of nowhere, your city friends will be impressed that you have flawless 5G coverage inside your house and wonder how it's possible. Now keep in mind, you do have to have some sort of coverage outside for this thing to work. But at least in my case, I was able to mitigate that with altitude and essentially a clear line of site to the closest cell tower, even if it is out of range when at ground level. Only complaint I'd have is lack of band 71 600mhz. It seems no repeaters on the market support this. If it did, I could probably get away with T Mobile home internet as my primary and save a whole bunch of money while still enjoying blazing fast speeds. Get a good solid pole to mount it on (pole mount for outdoor antenna included), walk around with the outdoor antenna on the cable first while watching the app, and find that ideal spot. Mount it, and forget about it. It just works.

From unusable to blazing fast.
I have sub-optimal cellular coverage inside my house, even though just down the block I get full bars and decently fast speeds. I decided I needed a passive solution to increase indoor coverage without the need for internet (femtocell) and decided on the hiboost smartlink 10k. This seemed to be the perfect combination of price, convenience and effectiveness. The package arrived with speedy delivery as always from amazon. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of packaging, which seemed to be intact, although once the box was opened, all of the contents were well protected but the plastic inserts that were used to separate each component are constructed of a thin, brittle plastic that seems to break very easily. This package includes all necessary components to install the booster including cables, indoor and outdoor antennas and the unit itself. The hiboost smartlink 10k is also capable of remote monitoring through bluetooth or wifi, which was important to me since the main unit would be installed in the basement, not very easily accessible to quickly monitor things. I found the automatic gain control and the ability to turn off certain bands I wasn't using helpful to reduce attenuation and signal noise. The build quality of this unit is very good, and seems durable enough to last many years of service. Installation was straightforward following the included instructions. I already knew the direction of my nearest tower but the companion app may be useful for those unaware to help aim the outdoor antenna. The one thing I wish was included was a J-Pole mount for the antenna, this will need to be purchased separately. Once hooked up, and aimed properly I couldn't wait to perform a speedtest. I went from 1-2 bars to 5 bars immediately and my speeds were quadruple what they had been previously. Needless to say I am satisfied and will be recommending the booster to family and friends. I initially held off on submitting this review until I had sufficient testing and I am confident this product performs well. Call quality is great, and no calls are dropped or missed. I am glad I made this purchase.

Excellent support, good quality and performance
First, I have very good 5G coverage in my area. My problem is that I have an office and entertainment space in my basement and the signal isn't getting through there very well and I frequently have to resend text and pictures. My goal is to get better signal from outside into my basement. I feel like I achieved that goal. Installation wasn't as easy as it could have been. This was mainly due to drawbacks with the various apps for locating the tower you connect too. One didn't show where I was connecting on the map and there's no connection between the map and the details. I also tried two others. Both of these pointed in the same direction for the tower but it wasn't the right direction. So, initially, I set up pointing as the apps directed but I wasn't connecting on a channel (band) that the booster would handle, and the result wasn't very good. Fortunately, support is only a message away via the SignalSupervisor app. Working with the support tech, Noah, over several days, we were able to get things sorted. I had to realign the antenna from a northerly pointing to southwest. Fortunately, I didn't run into an issue with a loop back due to the repointing so I didn't move the antenna placement. As you can see from the SignalSupervisor app image, three of the four signals were very hot. This turned out to be too much of a good thing and the AWS2100 radio needed to be turned off before I would connect to band 2 with the PCS1900 radio. Since making the adjustments, I'm connecting to band2 via the PC51900 radio and have a 4-5 bar signal in my basement (previously at 1-2 bars). Throughput is good and I'm not resending any longer. I've had some friends over and they have said they're getting better service too. Though it seems they all have services that use the T-Mobile network (same as me). The signal covers pretty much the entire house also. Takeaways: The third party apps could be easier and better. They present a lot of information but connecting that info to towers on the map could be significantly improved in all cases. The Hiboost equipment quality seems good, everything looked well made. You'll need a mount for the exterior antenna. I purchased one on Amazon that worked well for corner mount (search for B09NLLG8MZ) and I liked that it was compact and the white matched better. Hiboost support is readily available (via the SignmalSupervisor app but also via text and email) and were willing to provide additional cabling if needed. The problems I encountered were related to the third party apps so I'm not dinging Hiboost's rating for that. The equipment is good, the support is there and I achieved my goal.

Does the job!
We bought this booster for a cabin that is tucked away in a high elevation in the forest. The booster has improved our quality on the cell phone to the point of where we can make and receive phone calls easily. Where before, we could call out but calls were of bad quality, calls dropped often and sometimes not be able to call at all. We are still working with getting the best reception we can get from the towers around. We are hoping it will get even better reception after we put it in the air a little higher next time we make it to the cabin and then we hopefully have better internet service. Since I have done my review, we have made it back to our cabin. We were able to put the booster 2 ft higher in the air and we are so pleased with the results! Works fantastic!

Excellent Signal Booster with Easy Setup and Stellar Support!
I purchased the HiBoost 10K Smart Link to improve our spotty AT&T signal at home, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I opened the box, the installation process was smooth and straightforward. The kit came with very detailed instructions, which made it simple even for someone like me who isn’t especially tech-savvy. One of the standout aspects of my experience was the personalized support from Noah at HiBoost. He walked me through a couple of questions I had about the best placement for the outside antenna, and his advice made a noticeable difference in performance. It’s rare to get that kind of responsive and knowledgeable customer service these days! Once installed, the results were immediate. I saw a major improvement in both download and upload speeds using AT&T Wireless—our download speeds more than doubled, and upload speeds, which used to be practically unusable, are now fast and stable. This booster turned our frustrating signal dead zone into a reliable coverage area. The HiBoost Signal Supervisor mobile app is another highlight. It’s clean, easy to use, and made fine-tuning the signal strength a breeze. I loved being able to monitor performance in real-time and make adjustments as needed without climbing back into the attic or checking bars manually. All in all, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. If you’re struggling with weak signal and want a solution that’s easy to install, well-supported, and highly effective, the HiBoost 10K SL is worth every penny.

HiBoost works and it is bundled with great service.
Living in what used to be a wooded rural area. There are probably several factors over time that have impacted the quality of the signal in my situation. More housing going up saturated network, and many more. Both Verizon and AT&T have a large presence in the area. In my case 4500 sq feet 3 floors we were losing calls more frequently. Unless one puts up an 80’ plus antenna there is no line of site to a tower, too many trees in the way. Looking at the options, the reviews and need opted for the Hi Boost, booster that covers 6K square feet. Two pictures of the antenna and signal at the antenna site. The last picture is the signal strength in the house two rooms away from the indoor antenna. Installation went well, read the instructions then followed the directions. Due to placement, I ended up using a 50’ antenna to booster cable. Eliminated the window pass through option so reduced my cable connections and loss there, I didn’t do all the math for the loss/gain but 50’ is working well. Planning to put a lightening arrester in line now that I see how the connections are mated. Once the booster was on and registered via the Signal Supervisor app the support team kicked in and offered assistance, with plenty of follow up. There was a bit of challenge syncing my app/phone and booster, had to have all the information for registration ready or stuff started timing out. The result was to plug in the booster near the antenna, sync and register with the app. The support team followed up with the installation progress and offing to lend a hand. I didn’t need any extra assistance but the follow up was appreciated. Once fully installed support confirmed via pictures of Network Cell Info lite version and pictures of the front of the booster that all looked good for the installation. The only down side I have is regardless of Hi Boost, a booster that covers what is needed. With 3 floors, plenty of walls and other obstacles, the 6K sq foot coverage leaves a lot to be desired. I struggled selecting the correct booster for the application. With Hi Boost I was on the fence between the 6K and 15K (two antennas). The booster is working great and I would recommend it to others. Support is excellent, can’t go wrong there. Overall, the booster works well I don’t lose calls. If and when the time comes for switching to a 5g internet service provider, I have great signal strength in several rooms of the home so that should not be a challenge either. Again, I recommend the Hi Boost cell phone booster.

Pay once, Setup once, and enjoy good service forever
I live in a forested valley that averages about one bar of 4G/5G. There are hills directly on the north, south, and east of our house, leaving only the west open for signal. I was hesitant at first if this would even work, but I read that 1 bar of 4/5G is all you need for this to work. I setup the antenna on a corner of our roof facing the west and slowly rotated it 360 degrees to find the direction with the best signal. Their bluetooth app allowed me to get signal readings in realtime up on the roof as I slowly rotated it. Once I found the best signal, I secured the antenna and setup the emitter in the house. Wow! We barely managed 1Mb download before, now we have 25Mb download and 9Mb upload. It's no fiber internet, but this is far and away better than any satellite internet service would have gotten us. And this is a one-time payment for a device that is YOURS completely - no subscription payments of any kind. Our entire house has 3-4 bars of signal now, and if I test out any of the other 3 corners of the house I could probably improve the signal even more if needed. A few caveats for anyone considering this: 1. You will need at least a poor or 'acceptable' initial signal for this to work. I have noticed from other reviews and my own experience that this device boosts your signal about 2 bars from previous, but if you have no bars there is nothing for it to boost. They have a 30-day return guarantee, so it's not the end of the world if you test it and don't get a good enough signal. 2. Test ALL 4 corners outside your house! I thought that the northeast side of my house was the best location due to tower proximity, but the best spot was actually west-facing. Please make sure you take the extra hour of your time to throw a ladder up on all 4 corners of your house and check signal in each area. One hour of extra time spent could lead to an entire bar or more of signal strength in the long run. 3. Read the manual all the way through BEFORE even picking up any of the equipment. This is one of the best manuals for a product I've read, and it helps immensely to know some of the mechanics behind how this device works before screwing it to your house. 4. Before you attach the antenna, plan a route for the cable to run into your house and where it will go. Plan out where the signal emitter will go as well. You could find that a certain corner of your roof is best, but there is no easy cable path to where you want the signal to be emitted inside your house. In that case, it might be best to use the 2nd best roof corner if it means a neater path for the cable. Total length of cable will impact signal strength, so avoid cable extensions where possible. This kit includes about 64 feet total of cable and should be sufficient for most house installations. No need to buy an extra 50' spool for 95% of customers most likely. All it would do is weaken the signal strength.

Fantastic Product! Even Better Support!
Purchased this product for a small second home located in a very rural location not served by any sort of hard-wired or fiber internet service, but with line of sight (though not visible to us through wooded surroundings) to one tower in the U.S., and a more distant (but ultimately better) one in Canada. The high-gain antenna, combined with the compact amplifier, worked fantastically to boost our cell reception from unreliable and sporadic (typically 1 bar) to solid 3 to 4 bars LTE. Whereas I was previously unable to send a photo attachment to a text message, I can now stream video on my iPad. I'm especially happy that after the initial purchase, I can get this service forever without any additional monthly cost beyond what I'm already paying for unlimited data on my mobile phone plan. Last, but by no means least: the service support from HiBoost has been absolutely phenomenal. As I started to work on the installation, they reached out to me to see whether I needed any help to get the system to work. After completing the physical installation, I was unable to return to finish the setup for several months. During that time, they followed up several times to check in. When I was finally able to return yesterday, they immediately responded when I reached out to them, and very quickly and competently helped me to fully optimize the system's performance. Could not be more pleased with either the product or the support. Thank you HiBoost team!
