Air Purifier S1 Shiny Black

I specifically wanted a purifier that would detect my air quality and adjust accordingly. This does just that while some other purifiers will detect the quality, but then you have to manually adjust the fan (to me that defeats the purpose). It is sensitive and picks up odor, smoke and pollen right away. When the purifier is on Auto and the air quality is good (green) the fan is incredibly quiet. It is also very quiet on manual fan level 1. Manual fan level 2 is obviously louder (and is slightly louder than the automatic fan level when the air quality is orange/not great) and a slight nuisance, but for me personally, does not disrupt sleep or tv viewing. When you manually set the fan to level 3, or the purifier detects very bad air quality (red light) the fan is really loud. It makes it difficult to hear the tv (you'll need to really put the volume up) and it is not a plesant sound to have in the background. BUT with my experience, the purifier cleans quickly and powerfully, so it doesn't stay red very long unless you are doing something that intentionally and drastically changes the air quality (and if that's the case, Iwant it to run at full speed to clean up the air). I have not used the sleep mode because I am a heavy sleeper and can sleep through whatever the fan changes to on its own under auto mode. Once, when pollen was very high and it was windy (my windows aren't the best), it was switching between green, orange and red throughout the night. It was disturbing, but the next time that happened, I was used to it and I didn't wake up (my husband still did). Now, if I think that will happen, I manually set the fan to level 2 and leave it like that over night. It has been easy to buy replacement filters (bought on amazon) and the purifier blinks to remind you to change the filter. It doesn't actually tell you though when changing the filter is necessary/is a must. That is a guessing game I suppose. I plan to change the filter once I realize its taking longer to clean the air. I loved this purifier so much, I bought a second one when I started to experience severe seasonal allergies- one for the main area of my home and one for my bedroom. It has helped me a lot. I use it to address pollen, dust (from firewood and fire place), animal hair and general cooking odors and kitchen smoke. I have not needed to contact customer service. The only thing I thought was weird was the purifier had black smudges on it when it arrived. But otherwise it worked great and seemed new. The second one I ordered a few months later did not have any marks on it. I have also recommended it to my friends as well.

This product is simply the best. I don’t have the luxury of throwing 200-500 dollars away on an air purifier. I didn't want one that was cheap and low quality either. I felt like just because i wasn’t as comfortable financially as others, doesn’t mean i don’t have a need high quality products of this kind. These kinds of products tend to be a “get what you pay for” sort of anomaly. but This air purifier was easy on price and works MIRACULOUSLY. I have 3 cats and live with my girlfriend in a 1 bed/1 bath apartment. as you can imagine, everyday smells such as litter box use or cooking/cleaning don’t have a ton of room to go. This lightweight, durable, user friendly, device can clear up the whole apartment in about 10 minutes at most. it’s a 990 square foot apartment. I run it for at least 8 hours a day, giving the filters and machine a break for the night (usually) and everyday it works at a “new, just out of the box” quality. I will recommend this device to EVERYONE who asks for advice!!!

Top notch air purifier highly recommend

I really glad I purchased this item. I searched and read many reviews on other air purifiers and this was the one I end up buying. It was a great price for the square footage that it covered. This air purifier has great suction and I feel like the air in my is fresher. I originally bought the purifier to clear the dust and pet dander that was causing me to wake up with a stuffy nose and itchy eyes. I have not noticed any of these symptoms since I started using this air purifier. I highly recommend this item if your looking for an air purifier that works well and is worth the price!

However, I noticed a few things. The fan is pretty much silent most of the time. I'll turn it onto automatic and it'll ramp up whenever it detects something fowl. Problem is, if I bust ass in my office, it'll kick on. If I use my propane canisters in the office (I play airsoft), it'll detect propane and turn on. But if my cat decides to drop a herculean turd literally 4 feet away from this filter, it won't turn on to filter it out.Works great for anything other than smelly cats.
