Can these be painted in?

We did not try to to paint on them. Due to the smooth plastic, I did not think paint would adhere well. We used stickers which worked great

Would these be a good pots for indoor succulents?

I think so. I use them as decorations for a bathroom that has no windows and they look really good in there!
