Very easy to hook up , user friendly and sounds great

I was looking for a Bluetooth Receiver, Home Theater Amp, I finally found this "Pyle - 5 Channel Rack Mount Bluetooth Receiver, Home Theater Amp," It's easy to setup and connect easily to Bluetooth, sound quality is excellent and it's great for the price. I highly recommend this item.

Pyle - 5 Channel, Bluetooth Receiver, Home Theater Amp, 200 Watt, PDA7BU.5 The Good, Pros . Fairly easy setup . Worked ok out of the box + Tested all 5 surround speakers, but not the sub woofer + Tested bluetooth,(Note: input source must be set to MP3) + Tested AUX output from TV using RCA plug connected separately to both the AUX and TV RCA plug inputs , with source input set to AUX or TV - both options worked. I assume the AUX output from my smart phone,1/8" (3.5mm) TRS jack, will work the same when plugged into the TRS jack on the front panel, and that needs to be tested. . Works with my old panasonic sa-pt660 speakers . Plenty loud for small workout room . The CON, or not so good . Specified 200 watts is not RMS power (real continuous power) it is peak or some other manufacturer max power standard. Actual rms power may only be about 50 watts per channel (left or right, total R+L, 100watts). Look for RMS power in the specs if they are noted. . Not true theatre surround sound. It is basic stereo, but set up with the configuration of 5.1 surround sound(5 speaker outputs(L and R for front and back with center) with sub woofer signal output). Requires separate amplifier for the sub woofer. + Stereo output is just fine unless your are gaming or have true surround sound recordings. Even then I personally don't care. (The gaming enthusiasts will disagree). . Based on so many complaints about amp circuit failures in a short time period, I have given a 4 star rating until I have more run time.

Great Amp. I use it to power my five way from the TV. The outputs are balanced which means the 'stereo' output becomes mono from each speaker. It doesn't separate signals for each speaker. The plus side is it works very well as a signal booster to the speakers. The TV remote will control the volume. I've played USB music through it as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

How is it acceptable to sell a "rack mount" amplifier that can't be rack mounted? What kind of product manager would approve this insanity? It ships with four feet attached internally to the device. These are clearly problematic right off the bat for rack mounting. A rack "U" is a static measurement that never changes. The solution on the manufacturer's website to make this device, advertised as rack mountable, actually rack mountable, you must remove the feet yourself. Fine, I guess. ...only you can't remove the feet at all unless you completely dissemble the device. Not just a few screws -- we're talking over 10 screws of multiple different threads and lengths, and depending on how you do it, someone could waste even more time removing the knobs and retaining nuts since two of the screws are hidden underneath circuit boards. Another 16 pieces of hardware to remove. It is ludicrous that the official recommendation of the manufacturer to make their device work as advertised is to fully disassemble it. But, I stuck it out and did it anyway. ...but then the screws on the underside are not inset and they stick out, clearly exceeding the static dimensions of a rack U and are unprotected by the front plate like the top screws are. This causes the amplifier to scratch the device underneath. Damaging neighboring devices is somehow acceptable to Pyle. We're now at the second different reason why a device advertised as rack mountable is not rack mountable. The whole point of a rack mountable device is to live within the constraints of a rack with devices that operate with other devices on top or below it. So, I removed the screws, which caused the device to lose its rigidity, but I did it anyway because it won't be moved much. ...but next is the third flaw, and this one is fatal: the rack ears don't even align to a rack! We're not talking a matter of a 1U device extending to 2Us -- they are literally spaced too far apart no matter how you vertically align them. Is it perhaps 1.5Us instead? Nope! They don't fit in-between Us, either. So here we have a "rack mountable" device, advertised as rack mountable, which can't actually be rack mounted for three completely different reasons. Genuinely impressive, Pyle. I went above and beyond to find a way to make it work. I should send them a bill.

Brought used close to new condition very pleased and the price was over the top

Having polke audio speakers, high quality Tube amps, soundblaster Z inputs I am used to high quality audio. Usually threes cheaper models of tuner/Amps are way over rated claiming 1000's of watts, but are of low output and distortion, this unit pleasantly surprised me on all fronts. Very happy all and all except for remote and navigation of USB interface. Amp gets an A++ in my book.

For the price, I'm totally satisfied.
