what is the weight limit on the TOP pull-up bar?

I believe it's 350 but you wanna make sure it's connected to studs

Will this work on 16in studs? Also, will this support a 200lb man or is it too flimsy?

yes it will support you I think the limit is 350. so I didn't use the brackets that came with it I just put 1x4 strap across it in 2 places (connected the 1x4 to the ladder and then screwed the 1x4 to the studs) that way it didn't matter where the studs were I could drill anywhere along the 1x4 make sense?
