I've used the hand hammered copper mugs every day for a month now, and I must say, these mugs are as practical as they are beautiful: great size, holds plenty, and easy to grip. The high-quality craftsmanship is evident. There's a pleasant tinge of metallic flavor (sounds strange, I know) that enhances the drinking experience. A thoughtful addition is the inclusion of leather coasters, which not only elegantly protect surfaces but also reduces clanging when I set the mug down. I don't really use the copper straw, but it's a nice bonus that adds to the overall appeal, and it's nice to know I have it when I need it, rather than resorting to some cheap plastic McStraw.

The picture and description said the coasters it came with were wooden. The coasters in the package I received were cheaply made felt. I wish I would have opened the box before giving it as a gift. I would have removed the coasters. I feel that they made the entire gift look cheap. There was also some scuffs around the rim of one of the mugs, but that isn't a huge deal to me. **The seller did offer to send the wooden coasters, so I changed my rating since he was quick to respond and resolve the issue

These mugs are great. Pleased with the heavier weight and riveted handles. The copper straws add an impressive touch.

These mugs looked very cool, and were a good size. However if you are getting these to use for your Moscow mules like we did, DO NOT leave a lime slice in the mug for any length of time after finishing your drink. We did this once and it basically chemically altered the copper so that it turned black, and made anything you drank out of it taste horrifically like metal. Needless to say we threw them away after that. And it is at our own fault but I wanted others to know that this can happen. edit: I changed my review to 5 star because it was not the makers fault that we left something in the mug that ruined it. I should have set it at 5 stars to begin with and i'm not sure why I didn't. These mugs were awesome while they lasted, and we still are using the coasters that came with them!
