MJW Silicone Plain Pad 3 Layer 4.7x7'' Suture Simulation Pad for Suture Training for Medical Student Doctor Nurse Teaching

I bought the one with no cuts after seeing the reviews saying the pre cut ones tore easily due to the proximity of the incisions. I simply made my own incisions and separated the sub q layer and it did a pretty good job. Only thing is the puncture marks become more obvious with use. However it helped for my suture practical and was cheap so I’d reccomend. I like that it had multiple layers so it could be used for a variety of sutures. It doesn’t let the knots slip as easily as the foam ones do after repeated use so that’s helpful. It doesn’t slip and slide as it sticks to flat surfaces while suturing. This likely won’t last you years but it does seem somewhat durable. Mine is still holding up well after a few uses. Plus I still have room for new incisions. Bottom line: It will do the job for suture practice I’d recommend them over the foam models sold at slightly higher price points.

Very good for practicing wound suturing and affordable price, compared with similar products. The material is sensitive so be careful when pulling the knots and allow enough space between the knots alongside the "wounds", the material can be easily be damaged if they are too close.

Great for practice. It has a meshlayer inside which helps it durability and makes sure it doesnt rip. I reccomend it to medical students and doctors

A good sized wound pad with various wound designs. Perhaps too close together as most are very vulnerable to tearing, however this may be down to material or size of suture being used (perhaps worth advising what should / should not be used). The material will collect any oose or nearby debris and quickly become very grubby looking.

Doesn't hold stitches at all. Gets torn even when holding with forceps. Waste of money

Good enough to start the suture practice, but if you want to perfect the skill, better buy a chicken or a pig leg to practice on

Looks like the picture, have had one before and it's very similar. Works well but it's not very like skin, which is probably to be expected. Good value given it was like £5

Al tatto è molto simile a quella che è la cute umana, con differenti materiali per simulare i differenti strati di pelle. Il materiale della parte inferiore è antiscivolo e permette un buon grip sulla superficie su cui lo si poggia, utile per evitare slittamenti e spostamenti durante il training. Nel complesso, acquisterò sicuramente uno o due pad di riserva, a questo prezzo. Consigliato.

Tampon de suture bien pratique pour s'entraîner. Il a l'air de très bonne qualité et dispose d'un large choix de suture. De bonne taille, il peut être facilement emporter partout.
