I am taking iodine and Optimox ATP is recommended to take with it.

I've been on Idoral since December 2012. At that time I had an ultrasound on my thyroid, did blood work and felt like crap. I read Dr. Brownstein's book on iodine and decided to give it a try. I started feeling better right away, but there seemed to be something missing... so I read the book again and realized I'd left out the ATP Cofactor. Immediately ordered it, and after 1 week felt that "something missing" slip away... and I felt great!!! Moved my mother to Florida in May, and accidently left my bottle of ATP Cofactor at her place. Didn't really think much about it for about 3 weeks... then it started again... the tired achey feeling, needing a nap right after work. Oh man... What did I forget? Then I realized AGAIN that I was forgetting the ATP Cofactor. Immediately ordered TWO bottles, one as a back up... Yesterday, (June 11th, 2013) I went to my endo for a 6 mos follow up and ultrasound on my thyroid. Not only did the small nodule on the right side DISAPPEAR, but the larger nodule on the left side was 4mm smaller than it was back in December. Also, my overall thyroid (goiter) was smaller. I've learned that if I take this stuff as Dr. Brownstein says (including selenium) I feel GREAT!! Energy levels that make me feel good enough to actually exercise mildly, clearer head, and no more choking sensation from a swollen thyroid (goiter). The surprising benefit was I lost 6 pounds without trying... that's one pound a month without struggle and emotional turmoil. The only other thing I did was get my hormones balanced. I was diagnosed as estrogen dominant in March. All I take for that is 100 mg natural Progesterone for 14 days a month. My recommendation on this page is that you ADD in the ATP Cofactor if you're doing iodine therapy. It REALLY does make all the difference in the world.

I take this to compliment my iodine absorption. They are easy to break in half if needed as they are scored. They are easy to swallow. No complaints.

Great alternative for iodine protocol, no flushing and it is working as regular vitamin. Feeling more energetic and complete as well. Using it with other vitamins and supplements for iodine protocol. Happy.

I am a Clinical Nutritionist and this is a good quality supplement and these are 2 b vitamins that most of us are deficient in. This is part of a cofactor program that you take along with an Iodine protocol. Most of us are deficient in Iodine and if you take Iodine in too high of a dose, too quickly, and you are also deficient in the Co factor nutrients that help Iodine to be absorbed and utilized in the body, you could have some bad effects. This has just 2 of the co factors Riboflavin and Niacin, without too many fillers and added ingredients. It's not quite as pure as it could be, but I have not seen this formula anywhere else and I feel better while taking it along with my iodine.

I’ve been taking iodine for a long time and I didn’t really see a whole lot of difference. When I found out about these co-factors which are needed when you take iodine it was the missing piece to my health. My hair stopped falling out as much and it started looking shinier and thicker. I feel more energy when taking these.

I bought this product to use along with Iodoral which is part of Dr. Brownstein's protocol for using high dose iodine. After using high dose iodine for a year, along with all of the other recommended supplements, I really didn't notice any difference in my overall sense of well being. I decided to try the ATP Cofactors which are also recommended by Dr. Brownstein, not as part of the standard protocol, but for people who need extra help. All I can say is WOW! At first, it gave me too much energy and I had to cut back to 1/2 tablet for a week or so, but then I went to one tablet per day. This has really made all the difference in the world for me, as far as energy levels as well as sense of well being. Great product.

I take these every morning with 8 drops of Lugol's 5% in an 8 oz glass of water. I wait 30 mins before eating or taking anything else. I have never had any kind of bad taste, nor strange feeling or anything with these. B vitamin supplements can sometimes smell and taste funny, especially on an empty stomach. I have taken half this bottle. The pills are smooth and slick and easy to swallow. I really like this brand and will be re-ordering.
