Hi. I have a 4th Generation Toyota 4Runner 4WD that has 6 grease fittings on the propeller front and rear (drive) shafts. Some are easy to access as the front shafts can be manually turned when vehicle is parked, as long as the 4WD is disengaged. A few in the rear drive shaft can be tricky to access based on the rotation of the drive shaft. It might be necessary to move the vehicle slightly forward or back a few feet to position the fittings for easy access. Using the Lock N Lube on a high quality grease gun with flexible hose, made an otherwise annoying problem, easy to manage. I had a good quality grease coupler already and know the trick to making it release from the fitting more easily is to unscrew the end of the coupler to release the pressure. The problem, is that typically, this can be difficult to do when access to the end of coupler is limited once it is attached to the fitting, and it is guaranteed to be slippery from grease. The Lock N Lube was easily connected/disconnected using the lever with no effort. Once attached, there was no leaking from the attachment point, and I could easily hear the old grease being pushed out around the u-joints. Once done, a quick push on the lever released the coupler from the fitting and I was on to the next one. $30 is a bit steep for this product, but it works and was engineered so well, it was worth every penny in minimizing frustration. Awesome product in my application......no one wants any extra challenge when lying on the concrete working under the truck, and this thing works like a champ!

Works as intended and is well made

I balked at the price at first. It's half the price of grease gun, but it works. I have arthritis in my hands and trying to pump grease with one hand and holding the barrel on the zerk fitting didn't work. Screw on/off, bayonet types, tried them all, but this one performs as advertised. Squeeze the lever and push it on the grease fitting and it holds tight without any help from me. I can use both hands to pump grease. And it is fast. I did a whole bucket loader with backhoe in 15 minutes.It is small enough to fit into tight places on itty bitty Japanese tractors.I'm so happy, I'm going to grease the drive train on my Jeep right now just because I can.

Worked excellent on auto grease fittings but on my boat fittings it couldn't seal and get grease in. Maybe the boat zerks are too old but grease didn't go in just went all over the outside but overall seems to be a very nice piece.

My husband is raving about this adapter. We tried to grease the zeros on our rv but found many of them would not take the grease. He struggled to push the grease gun fitting onto the zeros which were over his head. We were in the process of buying new zerks when we came across this fitting. The zerks that would not take grease took it with this fitting clipped on. It is expensive tool but man it works awesome.

Used it today and I was kicking myself for not buying this awesome, locking tool sooner! Stays on the grease fitting until your done. You're able to use both hands to pump your grease gun & focus on the bearing for the new grease squirting out. So much easier!
