I use it indoor it works very well for me thanks!!!

I want to dehydrate onions and dont want to use my electric one. Will this work? I live in the south where there is high humidity

I works great, for many things. But, reading about your issue, I'd be worried about it either trying to grow, or become moldy. You may not want to use your electric dehydrator, but it will be the best choice.
