How often can you use this on your pet? There were no specific directions. I’m assuming once a day?

It can make your ear situation worse if using it more then 3 days a week. Wash ear then wipe out, let dry 2-3 days. But you can clean out your dog's ears without using solution on days in-between to help getting the wax and fungi out of ear and keeping ears clean to make next solution day work even better.

Does this product contain aloe or anything toxic to ferrets?

I have no experience with birds but I took the time to write all the ingredients down so you can copy n paste in search bar and double check with google if anything is harmful to birds.
