Are these good for running?

LONG DISTANCE JOGGING/WALKING = GREAT----------GENERAL ON-YOUR-FEET ALL DAY TYPE STUFF=GREAT-----UNEVEN TERRAIN/RUNNING=BAD IDEA I'd say they are good for jogging, but their soles are quite thick raising the center of gravity about an inch off the ground. In cross country running that's a recipe for a twisted or sprained ankle. For flat out competitive hard surface running, they are just too heavy and bulky. ** I personally wear them for work. Cleaning swimming pools all day. Feet never get tired!

Can I wear this if I’m not a dad?

I’m a dad and probably on my 10th pair of these. Lol

shoes and sneakers come in sizes for length and width. the first number is the length, the letter following is the width. Widths for SHOES ranged from A to E alphabetically, and then mutiples of E like EE,EEE,EEEE BUT the widths beyond E could be 2E, 3E, 4E etc.Nowadays SNEAKERS TYPICALLY ARE IN D WIDTH, but sometimes found in widths similar to the E system. I was recently looking for a little wider than D, I found the NIKE air monarch IV, training in 9.5E and 9.5 4E. there was one 9.5E and several sizes in 4E.

Why do they squeak so much?

QUICK FIX: The squeak is synonymous with Nike Air shoes. I’ve had three pairs and they all do this. I forgot about that when I got my last pair, and within a week of regular use they squeaked. I stopped using them for about 2 months because of how embarrassing this is. I tried powder, no go. The squeak is in the air pocket in the heal/midsole of the shoe. Then I said screw it, I’m gonna try something. I pulled up the insole of the shoe and pierced the air picked right in the middle part of the shoe, closer to the heal. It let out a rush of air. Then I sprayed a little WD40 in there while trying to keep the hole open a little for it to get in. Use the spray tube most cans come with and it will go right in. Ever since the , no squeak!!! Worked on two pairs I’ve had since doing this. Stupid that this has been an issue for Nike for YEARS but never addressed. DIY and you won’t regret it. My favorite shoes now and the popping of the pocket did nothing bad to the cushion of the shoe. Couldn’t even tell.
