Firstly I think that the cost is rather high and as suggested by some reviewers it's unclear how long they will last. I have Dr Martens boots which are too big. My feet are size 7 long but size 8 wide. I can have crushed toes or slipping heels producing blisters and there are no half sizes and the size charts are hoplessly wrong. These have provided the missing lining that I need inside the boots - flexable foam that adjusts to the size of my feet, and these are my third attempt at solving this problem. They work very well and they keep my feet warm. They are the best solution that I have found so far. I'm probably a size 7.5, so I have to hope to break in 7s? The bottom line is, if you have shoes or boots that are too big, these can fix that better than anything else, but your feet will sweat so it's a good solution for the winter. They are recommended but they are not robust nor are they cheap. They probably double up as slippers and they are comfortable and better than silicone ankle protectors (which are much cheaper and work if the shoes are too small). Good stuff - buy some.

I ordered these primarily to pad out my neoprene wellies that were a bit big. These did the job perfectly. They’re comfortable, and over the past few weeks during the recent spell of heavy snow and cold temperatures, these have really proved their worth. Walking the dog in -10c in wellies would have been a bit cold on the feet. No more, not in these. They're not for snug, well fitting footwear as they’re quite thick. I’d certainly buy them again.

These are a great product, as in they keep your feet warm.The only downside is the socks worn under them can become damp from sweating and if not taken off and changed once finished wearing the boots your feet will become cold.

These have been a great buy. I bought these inserts to wear with my UK size 10 wellies which were a loose fit (the size 9 boots were a little too small). The wellies now feel snug and are considerably warmer and more comfortable to wear. The inserts probably increase the overall size of your feet by about a half size, so if your boots are already a snug fit, these are probably not suitable for you.

They bunch up at the bottom, it's like wearing loose socks. But they're warm. They're ok. Maybe I can sew them smaller.

I bought a pair of wellies that were exactly what I was after (wide fitting calf) but unfortunately the sizing for the calf to fit meant that the boots are too big to wear with my usual socks. Thats where these came in and boy am I glad I found them. These, with the usual socks I wear, make the boots fit perfectly and make them really comfortable to walk in.There are some comments about these booties not lasting but I wear these between two pairs of socks and so far they still look new. Time will tell re their longevity but so far I’m very happy with them.
