The hinge attach point on the original back cover of my HP Envy 15-bp152nr broke, and shattered the screen in the process. This part, along with a new screen brought my computer back to life. The screen and this part are both aftermarket, and they don't fit together quite as well as the original, but I don't know if it's the screen or the back cover. Moving the camera and Wi-Fi antennae was a bit of a fuss, but not too difficult if you take your time. I did need some double sided tape to get everything back on the new part. It does have the HP logo on the outside, which kind of surprised me, because the product pictures had that part grayed out...and since it's a gray part, I couldn't tell. Overall I'm happy with it. We'll see how it holds up.

Haven't had an issue with the hinge ever since i replaced the back cover, everything was transferred over easily during the repair.

Bought to replace a screen lid where the hinge mounts had broken on one side. The screen was undamaged, so I bought this instead of an entire assembly. The replacement shipped quickly. The screen is assembled with snaps, no adhesive, so assembly should have been simple. It snapped on properly on the sides, but not on the top or bottom. On top of that, the tape used to protect the bottom edge was very difficult to remove and left behind a residue that I had to clean off. I double checked to make sure that I had not damaged the display during disassembly, but the screen easily snapped in securely to the old part. I sent a request for replacement, which came quickly. The logo came off on the protective plastic, and it still doesn't snap into place on the top or bottom of my screen. Looking at other reviews, it looks like this is a common problem. Since there aren't a lot of other options out there, I'll have to use an adhesive to get it to stay attached properly.

Perfect OEM replacement. Just a reminder this lid does NOT include wifi antenna's or webcam! You must move those items over yourself. Customer was happy with replacement part. I liked the protective film over the chrome pieces at the bottom! I attached a picture of the old lid & new lid. Items in green must be moved over.
