De la Rosa pulparindo 20 pack, tamarind candy (Giant Original)

Delicious. These are the gigante ones which are quite large at ~1oz per bar. It's something you can eat slowly over time, you definitely dont want to take large bites of this. There is some "powder" on the outside that people mistake for mold, it's not mold, it's sugar for the packaging so it doesn't get stuck to the wrapper.

Awesome! Had one in Mexico a few weeks ago. Sour and sweet with a pepper finish. Odd mix of flavor, but actually pretty good!

Tamarind is definitely an acquired taste. Either you like it or you don't, no in between. I do love the taste and these are delicious.

These are very good, they say tangy and spicy, but all I taste is tangy and salty. I really like trying new to me candy and these are pretty great. Just be prepared for a very sour blast into your mouth.

I had never had this candy before, and then the gas station by my house started carrying it. I tried it and liked it...so naturally I found it on amazon. Completely different flavor, but I like this one much better! Tamarind has so many health benefits, and this brand has ground peppers in it, so it is spicy. I know, I know... Spicy candy? But it's not overwhelming spice. It just gives you that little kick in the back of your throat after you swallow it. Perfect amount in my opinion. The candy isn't too firm because it's made of tamarind pulp..so it's easy to chew. I was even able to give a small piece to my nephew who is missing his two front teeth...and he was fine. I would definitely recommend this candy if you are looking for something different and unique, or just to try something new. And I will DEFINITELY be ordering this again soon for myself as well!

I was uncomfortable eating these as they seemed to have contaminated, bht maybe it was a fluke. Will not be reordering.

We tried this candy in Mexico and had to have more. It is delicious and tastes just as fresh as it was there. It’s slightly spicy while being sweet, super hard to describe but absolutely amazing flavor. Highly recommend!
