These magnetic combs fit my Andis hair clippers great! - You will quickly learn to insert the cutting-end tip of your clippers into plastic comb before allowing the magnets to GRAB onto the steel cutter base. Once the cutter end is in place and the magnets adhere to the base, these combs won't accidentally fall off. The only mildly aggravating thing I find about using these combs in trying to use its original plastic packaging to keep them organized in a small-to-large organization. I find it challenging to remove and replace a single comb without the super-strong magnets wanting to connect to each adjoining comb! I need to find a way that I can keep all of these combs (along with the larger set of combs, sold separately) together, but in such a way that they won't magnetically stick to each other, wasting my time separating them. Another feature that I would like to see in the next version of these combs would be to have each size be a different color. (The sizes are in raised printing on the plastic, but I find it difficult to read small purple-on-purple size numbers. In my honest opinion, standardizing the depth of cut to specific colors would be a welcome addition to the hair styling trade.) The Andis magnetic combs in THIS set contain combs in the #0 through #4 sizes. This equates to the following depth-of-cut measurements: #0 = 1/16" / 1. 5 mm, #1 = 1/8" / 3 mm, #2 = 1/4" / 6 mm, #3 = 3/8" / 10 mm, #4 = 1/2" /13 mm. These combs are nice. If you buy these combs, you might also consider buying the larger set of four Andis combs (not included in this set).

Bought these for an Oster fast feed. They fit perfect. Nice and tight. The magnets are very strong. They hold tighter than any of the clip ons. I didn't believe it,but they do. The material must have some kind of product in it that makes them feel slippery. Glides through the hair real nice, To me they were worth a little more for a far superior product. UPDATE. WARNING, I soaked guards in barbacide over the weekend and now the magnets are falling out. It must have reacted with the liquid. Guards should be made to soak, it never affected my other ones. 2nd UPDATE, I was able to secure magnets back in with a special plastic epoxy that I got at Lowe's. Magnets are now held tighter than new. The don't move at all. This was actually an upgrade too me. Been working great since I had problem a couple weeks ago. Still very happy with performance.

I have the oster fast feeds and they are great clippers. The guards were stiff and hard to put on I actually slipped and stabbed myself once with them (nothing major) and have been eyeballing these for quit some time. I finally took the plunge and bought them and they are superb in fit and feel I have not yet cut hair with them yet so that would be the deciding factor I rate them a 5 star and if anything changes I will come back and change my review.

When I began teleworking at the end of March, all of my normal social practices changed, as they have for most of us. I had been getting my hair cut regularly at a local hairdresser, but I didn't want to continue those appointments until this virus risk period was over. Initially my wife cut my hair using an old Wahl model 9854 clipper. That had worked well for trimming my beard, but when we used it for trimming my hair it did not work very well.I then embarked on one of those research projects that is so easy to conduct these days, with tons of articles and videos available on the Internet. After spending plenty of time reading and watching a wide variety of reports, I decided to purchase the Andis Master Cordless Clipper. It's expensive and not necessarily the consensus recommendation of every review I surveyed, but it is clearly one of the top choices.That Andis clipper does not include a selection of guards (or combs as Andis calls them), so I purchased this Andis 01410 Master Dual Magnet Small 5-Comb Set to provide the sizes I needed. There are other guards available in different sizes as well. The guards are held to the clipper with a pair of strong magnets, and require a certain effort to remove and install.These guards work perfectly with the clipper, as you would expect. They also fit other Andis clipper models.I also purchased this Andis Cylindrical Grooming Blade Holder Bag to hold my new clipper kit and accessories.As a final comment, I purchased the clipper, and this guard set, from seller 'PERSONAL&ACCESSORIES'. For some reason they are no longer listed as one of the sellers offering the clipper, but that could change. The products that I received from them were new, sealed, and properly packaged. I purchased the accessory bag from seller 'FROM A TO Z' and that was also new and fully satisfactory.

I bought these clipper combs as non-professional to go with my home hair clippers (Oster Fast feed) which came with a much inferior comb set. These combs appear to be of much better quality and fit my clipper perfectly and came highly reviewed, but I must say I'm disappointed that the magnets are easily pulled from their resting divot due to the incredibly strong force of the magnets gripping the clipper head, as they are apparently held in the comb solely by friction This means I'm regularly fiddling with either attempting to slide off the combs without dislodging the magnets, or working to snap the magnets back into their holders. I may be able to glue the magnets in place but will need to be careful to maintain the fit of the comb to the clipper head. I wish the magnets were somehow fully encased in the molded plastic or otherwise permanently glued from the factory. Otherwise a great idea and an ok product.

The double magnet makes it the securest clipper guard that I have ever used. I highly recommend this product for Andis Masters.
