Replacement Filter Compatible with Water Ionizer Using HG-N Filter (Not Compatible with K8 and Original HG Machines)

I was concerned with buying this due to the other reviews, but with the factory hg-n filters being up to 4x the cost, it was worth the risk. It fits our Kangen LevelLuk JrII. No leaks. I don't notice a difference in water taste. Thumbs up for me!

I've been using these replacement filters on my water softener for over three years, they work great. Why waste your money on the overpriced ones that come from the company. They are carbon filters, basically little pieces of charcoal wood, used to filter your water. Why spend more. The cheap ones from Korea work great and you can now afford to take your Love to dinner on the money you saved. Enjoy!

I have been using this same brand of filter for my Kangen water machine for about 4 years now, so in total I have had 3 of these filters. A GOOD SOLID FILTER REPLACEMENT! They have been a great money saver and something to note is that they are still not the BEST, but it does the job well for a while. Towards the end of its filtration life it does tend to leak at the top, but it hasn't caused me any problems. It's a slight leak and I tend to get my machine cleansed about every year or so. I will say that this is definitely a nice replacement that works when you can't spend up to a hundred bucks or more for the titled filter. I also recommend it to my other friends who also have a machine and they haven't had any problems over the years as well.

Received my order today. Same size and configuration as the original HG-N Filter Enagic markets. Installed it right away and water leaked all over the place. However, someone in a previous review mentioned replacing the 2 O-rings with the ones from the original filter. Worked like magic. So many pros, only downside is the O-rings that didn't fit very well. Hopefully, it will last for several months before I get that bitter taste again.

Fits our Kangen filter perfectly at better price and lasts some 6+ months in our household. Water tastes great, easy to put in, and does a fantastic job filtering. Bought several times now and have the listing on save as we've had no issues at all for years.

I have Leveluk K8, post 2010 with the notches on the HG-N filter. I have replaced the filter previously, leak free with same HG-N model from another supplier (Japan). Both filters were carefully examined, and no discernable difference could be observed between the old and new filter. I did notice the shipping box was marked "new model", not sure what that means. When replacing the old filter with this product I immediately noticed a much tighter fit. I had to exert force to get it to seat so the seal could be applied. The previous HG-N dropped in without a hitch. The latching strap was difficult to close. I then turned on the water and the filter base leaked continuously. I tried to remove and reapply the filter, the leak continued. I then swapped the old O rings to the new product, it still leaked. I placed the original filter back into the unit and it dropped right in and didn't leak. Bottom-line - This is the correct model for my machine. If you use a HG-N type filter, I suggest looking elsewhere.
