The radio is good and could even be very good, but on SW, MW and LW only if you have a good external antenna, like a long wire 10 or 20 meters long, high above and well clear of obstacles. This is hard to achieve on an apartament building in the city, where electromagnetic pollution is very high. On FM band is working OK with its own antenna.
