I can see clearly now
The mirrors on my '72 Duster were badly pitted and mismatched when I brought it home. Prices of factory replacements didn't fit the budget nature of this build so I turned to Amazon for a solution. These mirrors closely resemble the factory style mirrors and would look at home on any car of the period. Installation is very easy and took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Including looking for the screw I dropped. They are plastichromed so don't get your hopes up about buying real chrome mirrors for this price, but they are sturdy. These mirrors look good, do their job, and saved enough money to purchase some much needed performance parts. I may replace them at some point with fresh factory mirrors. But, then again maybe I will keep them where they are.

Nice
Worked perfect on the passenger side of my 62 Impala. As others have mentioned the base is plastic the mirror is metal, if your concerned with keeping with only oem restoration then it's not for you. I don't care my car's a driver there was no mirror on the right door so this fit the bill. I will say the mounting holes are 4" the same as the original on the drivers door so it would probably bolt right on if your using it for a replacement. Easy to install if it's a new install.

so you won't get a super wide field of view
they work well for what they are. it's all plastic except for the hinge, but the mirrors don't vibrate, and they aren't loose. you might have to play with the three Phillips screws on the hinge to get the right amount of resistance when you adjust your mirrors, but if you do it right, they won't give you issues. they're not convex mirrors, so you won't get a super wide field of view, but I don't think it will be an issue for most people. they didn't shave the mold flashing off of the plastic before they coated it in chrome, so on the leading edge of the arm you can see and feel the cheapness. can't see that from a few feet away though. most won't notice it. Anyway they're not terrible mirrors, and they're not expensive.

Well made mirrors for the price
Well made. Fit and looks great on my ‘65 Barracuda. They have an adjustment nut that allows you to keep the mirror nice and tight once you get it set and angled where you want it

Buy Stainless Screws!
They look great. Bought them to replace my non existing mirrors on my nova. Gm mirrors cost 200$ but for 30$ I got the next best thing. One hole had to be drilled for installation. I used one of my factory holes. Gaskets are included, I recommend changing out the screws to stainless steel screws.

CIPA mirror review
The mirror itself is fine and looks good. The finish of the mirror is quite good, although unfortunately the mount of the mirror is made of fibre and not metal. Although the description of the mirror is of a 'chrome' car side mirror, its actually made of light fibre covered with chrome polish which is basically delicate and inherently weak, and detracts from the overall look and finish of the vehicle. I use these mirrors on a vintage Austin A40 Devon, and I find that the construction of the mount is the only detrimental feature which really renders these mirrors unfortunately weak and detracts from their final appearance and styling. Had I known that the mounts are made of fibre, I possibly would not have bought the mirrors. Anyway, they are now installed, and at least give the impression of good quality steel or metal with chrome or nickel plating.

Made out of plastic
The mirror looks right for my vintage Fiat but the body is made of plastic. If it had been made of high quality metal, I would have been trilled, even at twice the price. I will not drill holes into my car to munt plastic mirrors!
