Sanitary, long charge, USB charger, cleans well.
Great quality for a decent price. It thoroughly cleans teeth and leaves them feeling really clean. I have also had problems with mold growing in electric toothbrushes before, but this one is designed so there is no openings for water to enter and mold to grow. It feels very sanitary. As far as the charges go, it only needs to be charged about once every week and a half. It is a USB charger which is a bit annoying because you need to charge it with a brick or outside the bathroom but otherwise its awesome!

very glad this was my first electric toothbrush
This does everything I need it to do, no fancy gimmicks or doohickeys (except when you press too hard which is good to know). My teeth are much happier since switching away from manual brushing! I bought mine a few years prior to this review and it's still working *perfectly*.Excellent first electric toothbrush, or just for anyone looking for a solid, no-frills option :)

Better than more expensive models. Have used Philips models for more than 20 years.
I bought this to replace the 5200 model and I think this is the superior model. It seems stronger and it cleans better. It also feels better in my hand and will be much cheaper to replace. Only drawback is the USB charger instead of a conventional plug.

Great Value For Price
I’ve been really happy with the Philips Sonicare 1100 so far! It’s a great value compared to some of the pricier models. The battery life is impressive — a single charge lasts a long time, which is perfect for travel or just not having to worry about frequent charging. One thing to note: it doesn’t come with a wall charger box, just the USB cable. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of if you don’t already have one at home.I’ve noticed that the toothbrush head may need replacing a bit sooner than with my other Sonicare model, but considering the price difference, I think it’s a fair trade-off. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly electric toothbrush that still performs well.

Soft and still cleans!
Got this to replace a different one whose bristles were way too hard. Not firm, hard.I am an electric toothbrush veteran so it's not a case of being sensitive to that sonic vibration of an electric toothbrush. I've also had all ranges of quality and price points, but after purchasing the one with the hard bristles which potentially could have flown me to the moon with all of the features, and then being outside of the return window, I did not want to spend on a super pricey one.Why the five stars? The bristles are soft as advertised versus when I searched soft bristle electric toothbrushes and it returned the one with the granite bristles lol! Ok, I should have read the details closer versus trusted the search. This toothbrush head also fits all the way to the very back teeth, top and bottom, inside and out. It has an audible timer for 30 second quadrants which is always helpful. Also, the other toothbrush had a pressure sensor which seemed like a good idea at the time, and maybe preferred by some. But the toothbrush head was so bulky that if I would get into a tight space, it would do its pause and notify thing. In the morning getting ready for work, nobody has time for all that adventure with a toothbrush lol! And was part of the reason I didn't bother to just find softer replacement heads. Truthfully, we were so far south of soft, I figured "soft" would still be relative. This charges with USB. I seem to have wall adapters coming out of everywhere, so I just grabbed one and it seems to work with it without overheating, no weird smells or concerns of incompatibility. I suppose I could also charge it on my laptop if I really wanted, but USB helps with portability. It is a one-speed situation, and seems to be enough. My teeth are clean when done. I've had toothbrushes with pulse, massage, interval, and honestly I personally didn't notice the difference in cleaning or comfort for all of the bells and whistles, but I'm sure those things may be important to someone. It would be nice if this didn't have an actual little charging stand, and the USB cord plugged straight into the side. But the stand is so tiny it really is taking up no space and the toothbrush holds a charge for so long you could charge it up, take it on vacation and not have to worry about taking the stand itself for in my case 3 weeks. If you are going to be gone for a month, perhaps take the little tiny stand.I have only had it for 3 weeks so haven't sorted out how accessible replacement heads are. Was kind of desperate to replace the last toothbrush so decided to cross that bridge when I got to it. But I will say the head seems to be fitting snugly, no rattling or shifting, I don't have to push it back on, All things I've experienced with other electric toothbrushes at all price points. If you would like a straightforward, rechargeable, electric toothbrush with soft bristles that fits in the nooks and crannies, is well built and low maintenance, this fits the bill!Worth a try!

Quality toothbrush!!
A bit smaller than my original but perhaps better for that. Requires a different charger. USB which is great for camping/RV. Overall very nice. I’ve had my other for years and have loved it.

I like this little toothbrush for its simplicity and effectiveness.
Nice toothbrush for the price. Not a lot of bells and whistles, just on and off. I don't need more than that. I like the Phillips brushes better than Oral-B just because the brush is a little smaller and I feel like I can get better cleaning. It has faster action but the stroke is shorter so I think the Oral B wins when it comes to brush effectiveness. The phillips takes longer.Overall, I'm very impressed with it and I like the price too!

Love Hate Relationship
For a toothbrush, this is a great product. It does a great job, and it I really like how long the battery holds a charge. My teeth always look and feel clean as a whistle. What i do not like - what I do not support - is that this product will inevitably go haywire right after you've had it for a year. Right after the warranty expires. This has happened two times in a row - I actually have my 3rd one en route to me today - the power button starts falling apart - and then the rubber covering it completely disentegrates, leaving only a metal button. That metal button may or may not work. Then the real fun begins. My toothbrush would just turn on in the middle of the night, and then wouldn't turn off. I had to take it to another room and wrap it in sweatshirts so we didn't hear it and let the battery die of its own accord. I miss when products were built to last - a $40 toothbrush that falls apart after a year is proof that Sonicare knows suckers like me will keep buying the product. I'm not going to buy the more expensive upgraded toothbrush because I'm not convinced that this won't happen on a nicer product. Show some integrity, Sonicare, build a product that will last again.
