Worth Every Penny for Peace of Mind
These prenatals are a little pricey, but honestly, they’re so worth it for the peace of mind. I feel good knowing I’m giving my body (and the baby) everything we need. The smell when you first open the packet can be a little intense, but I’ve found that if you open it and let it sit for a bit before taking them, it’s way easier to handle. Overall, I’m really happy with them!

Very comprehensive prenatal-based on It Starts With The Egg recommendations
This prenatal by Ovaterra has everything you need in six pills. It was based on the research in the book “It Starts With The Egg” which is basically the Bible in the infertility world for vitamins and minerals. As a result, while many prenatals are lacking in choline and folate, which are both critical for healthy brain development in a fetus, this contains the recommended amount for pregnancy. Note- it does not include CoQ10, DHEA, fish oil, or other recommended supplements from the book. This package is just vitamins and minerals. Smell-I have a sensitive nose and did not think these vitamins smelled. Price-Prenatals are not something to skimp on but the price of this is high. It can be hard to justify. Container-I like the ease of a daily package that has all of the pills in it. It makes it easy to bring to work or to travel with it.

Quality control!?!?!
Bought these for my wife. She used the August 2022- may 2023. They never smelled this bad then. These now have anchovies in them. Also they have very inconsist stuff inside. Black inside some... mold??! Dirt?!?! Very concerning they are inconsistent... reminds me of the pink sauce. You cannot exchange... because of this they get 2 stars

Easy to take, no need to take multiple brands.
Great product, easy to pack, all in one! My husband found it in a trade show and I have been taking it for 6 months, no side effects

Absolutely horrific smell and taste
I am close to 8 weeks pregnant and unable to complete the 28 day box I received. 6 pills a day that taste and smell the way that these do, are impossible to take with any type of nausea experienced in early pregnancy. Save your money- as these are exceptionally overpriced as well. Why bother purchasing this expensive prenatal when you likely will not be able to take when you need it the most? For the price, figure out a way to make these bearable.

Gold standard full choline
Absolute gold standard of prenatals! The only one with the full amount of choline for pregnant women. Very expensive unfortunately but zero complaints here. Comes undividually packaged with six capsules in each pouch. So handy for travelling.

TTC Mama's Best Friend - Doesn't Skimp on Quality
This product does not get enough attention. I am consistently shocked to see the prenatals that make online "Best" lists -- nothing I've come across is as comprehensive as this one in terms of dosage. If you really get into the minutiae of vitamin deficiency, especially in older women trying to conceive, you can't help but see that no other prenatal comes close. This is why it's so strange to see reviews complaining about taste -- divas, y'all are focused on the wrong thing. Personally, yes, I found it to be a bit less than palatable. But the sweet baby I now have to bounce on my knee was well worth a little olfactory discomfort, don't you think? The packaging is actually brilliant-- these are high dose vitamins. You don't want to screw up and take too much, especially if you're pregnant. The daily package format helps that--it's there to protect you, and the freshness of the pills, so, quit whining and just figure out where to store it, sugar plums. Spacing dosage out over the course of the day helps with absorbability, so I would just roll up the package and tuck in my purse. Not that hard, folks. My nail, hair, and skin strength/elascticity was phenomenal while taking these, energy was improved, and after delivery when I switched to another brand for "post-partem" daily multivitamins, the precipitious drop off in quality of life forced me to return. Amazon purchases in the supplement dept are always a little questionable due to storage conditions (especially in summer), so if you have pills that show up looking brown or black, they have most certainly oxidized. I purchase directly from the supplier so I don't really deal with this, but the low reviews here were too much to not write one of my own-- too many women are struggling to conceive, and any product that can really help with that unique heartbreak deserves a shout out. If you are older and TTC, there's nowehere else I'd look. The price might seem steep, but when you really compare labels, it makes absolute sense to invest in a true all-in-one that isn't skimping on dosage for the sake of a bottom line. Highly recommend reading It Starts with the Egg and It Starts with the Bump (or Brain Health from Birth) in tandem.
