Does the powder mix ever expire

It has a best by date that is a little more than 2 years out on what I have purchased, I buy a good bit for different things. Now a best buy means it remains usable past that date but the taste may change or the color etc. I figure if you kept it cool, dark and dry it would be good at least 10 years as any moisture would be its biggest enemy in the form of vapor. I in my Emergency rations I keep some in a box with Oxygen absorption tablets, humidity packs and a tupper wear box they would be ok for up to 20 years as they are stabilized.The Long and short is I would drink any passed 5 years if kept dry and not worry but the rest would depend on how careful the storage was. Powdered drinks like this store very well over the long term. They found Coco in Death Valley that was still good in a broken wagon from the 1870s.

Yes. Apple Cider is microwavable, and you can put the contents in a cup, and put it in the microwave. It is delicious with water and lemon. Thank you.

Does this have cloves?

I don't taste cloves, box says spice extracts, but all I get is very strong cinnamon, tea and apple taste.

Great product, lacking sources

Love this product and drink it daily. Unfortunately this vendor has stopped selling this and it is very disappointing. I will have to look for another.

Economical and Tasty

This food pack of Alpine Spiced Apple Cider Original Instant Drink Mix, 10-Count .74-Ounce Pouches (pack of 12) is what I consider a worthwhile purchase. This apple cider tastes good as a standalone powder in hot microwaved water andor as a mix with tea (I have used this mix with some Celestial brand tea flavors). There are even cider recipes listed with one of the boxes I have opened within this pack (recipes for mulled spiced cider, apple pie shake, and warm caramel apple drink. I also like that I could just microwave plain old tap water for just one minute and 30 seconds, throw a pack of the apple cider mix in the water and I have a delicious apple cider drink either as a standalone andor mixed with any of the store bought tea mixes that my husband and I have.

If you want "Original," be careful.

When the correct version of the cider (Original) is sent, it's delicious. I mix it into hot tea, and that makes my hot beverage of choice.I have ordered from this supplier before, and have been pleased. This time, they added "Low Calorie" to the description - but all of the images show the Original version, including the image of the ingredients that shows the version that contains sugar. When the product was delivered, I received the sugar-free version, which is not what I wanted. I'm not opening it because I know I loathe anything with artificial sweetener - but since the product is non-returnable, I was refunded, and I will donate the sugar-free cider to someone who can use and enjoy it.

Great hot beverage

I boil about 4 gallons of water and put inn a igloo beverage container in the winter to give out to the homeless. I also have hot chocolate for them to choose from and the majority choose the cider. I also drink it myself, great hot beverage.
