These do not have the rubber tips and will hurt when you place them in your hair.

These are NOT standard bobby pins. They are designed to be worn with wigs, to be used on hair nets, headbands and the like--which is why they do NOT have ball tips.To use them properly, you need to stick them into the hair/wig/hair net going in the WRONG direction. Slide the pin about 2 cm in, then FLIP IT--scooping up some hair or fabric while doing this--then slide the hair pin in fully going the OPPOSITE direction from how you started. They hold best when you use 2 pins going in opposite directions, with about a 3 cm gap between them.
