This is literally my last resort when my baby is backed up over several days and breaks into a sweat while pushing and cries so hard because of the pressure pain. As much as I hate doing this, it is so effective! She went within the hour (like 5 minutes) and kept going a couple more times throughout the day.Applying it is easy enough, I think these were pre-lubed but I used Vaseline along with it anyway. You have to kind of tilt it down at a slight angle while inserted to make sure you get enough out of the tube.Since using these I have found an oral alternative that works just as well so I’ll use that first if needed and if absolutely necessary I know these will do the trick.

These suppositories come with lubricant already on them and they are easy to use half of if you have a small baby. These ones seem to work the best because they are liquid!

Love these! My son suffered from chronic severe constipation starting at 6 months until he was 3.5 years old. These suppositories were our saving grace! His stool was so hard and large it was impossible for him to pass on his own and if he received a suppository he was able to pass very large stools with ease in just minutes! I don't know how we would have survived if not for these suppositories. They come lubricated, but I always added additional for comfort, and always administered them in the bathroom just before seating him on the toilet because a lot of times the glycerin would leak, make a mess and he would then quickly pass the stool. I'm telling the relief these things provide is instant. The age recommendation is also just a recommendation. Your pediatrician should always be the one to tell you if these are ok for your child if you are considering giving them to your child if they are under the age of 2.

This product works great. My 3 yr old struggles with pooping and this is a great help. You put it in and within minutes she is able to use the bathroom.Only problem I had was the 3 boxes come wrapped together in a clear package and there was blue ink all over the packaging. However this is not a product issue it was a seller issue.

My baby had really bad constipation when she transitioned to formula. She would spent days, even a week without pooping and she was always very fussy and looked uncomfortable. My pediatrician gave me a prescription for glycerin suppositories, I bought one package of these suppositories at my local pharmacy and started using 1 every 2 days, it worked GREAT and SUPER FAST. It gave my baby an immediate relief. After finishing the package I bought this set of 3 on Amazon so I don't run out of it when I need it. I continued to use it, but only once a week, then I gradually stopped when my baby's VM became more regular. This suppositories are amazing, I recommend it 100% for fussy and constipated babies. They are super easy to use, and very clean as well. You don't have to stick your finger on your baby's butt as it comes with a lubricated applicator that you insert on your baby and squeeze the little balloon to empty the content.

This product works exactly as intended for our daughter. She just turned 3 but we have used these as needed for over a year now. She has suffered from occasional constipation and under her pediatricians suggestion we tried this. Works like a charm!We have had no problem with insertion. I only mention this as it appears that some people have had issues. She doesn't like these (who would?) but they don't seem to actually hurt her upon insertion. For us at least they insert very easily. I spin the applicator slightly as I insert, perhaps that helps. Once fully inserted it may take 2 or even 3 squirts to make sure that most of the fluid has been injected. Its fairly easy to tell though as the fluid is clearly visible in the bulb part of the applicator.Once injected the results are fairly quick. a year ago the result was almost instantaneous. Now she's a little older and has greater control of her sphincter so it takes a little longer. However it's rarely if ever longer than 5 minutes before we get the desired result. Its still a traumatic experience for her but she is immediately and very obviously relieved once its over.I can't and would never suggest these are perfect for everyone. Each child will be different. I whole-heartedly recommend at least try these, after talking to your pediatrician of course!.
