It makes coffee
When I moved i only brought a french press with me then remembered I'm a lazy person who doesn't wanna go through that every day. I picked this up because I didn't feel I needed anything more complicated/bigger and the colour matches my kitchen. It sure is a device that makes coffee! I'm giving it four stars bc its cute and does what its supposed to and I'm easy to please but honestly some of the feature it claims I haven't noticed. I've tried the "auto shut off" it claims to have to pour a cup while its still brewing and they ended in disaster- absolutely just kept going. It frequently still drips a bit when its actually fully done brewing. I worry about the glass quality- it feels really thin and Im worried of it breaking but so far its been fine. I would say this is a good place holder coffee maker until you're able to get something better.

A perfect small coffee maker
Since I am the only coffee drinker, a small coffee pot was all I was looking for and this one is perfect for my needs. I like the fun color and the simple, but adequate functionality of this coffee maker. The brewing capacity is perfect for me and the taste of the coffee is all I need it to be. Good quality - so far, no problems at all.

Temu of coffee pots
The media could not be loaded. I’m not a big coffee drinker, 1 cup, 2 cups max a day so I was looking for something simple and small. It meets those requirements but it’s so incredibly cheaply made. It’s like the temu of coffee pots. It was packaged terribly. By terribly, I mean so secure it was hard to take apart. I actually took a video of the packaging bc I was worried I was going to break something trying to get it unpacked. Today I went to do the hot water cleaning cycle and noticed glue or fabric like fuzzies on the filter seam. I couldn’t get these off pre or post cycle run. Once the cycle was complete it continually kept making noise, like boiling water, even though the inside was empty. I know coffee makers typically make noise when they cool down and decompress but the longevity of this exceeded any cheap coffee pot I’ve owned. When I went to pull the pot out to dump the water it sloshed backwards out of the handle. Luckily it didn’t land on my legs. I realized it’s bc it gets hung on the spring release drip. This did improve after multiple attempts of pulling in and out but not worth the risk of scalding. I will be returning and investing in a better quality pot. Unfortunately I can only upload one video for review.

Love it, but here's some advice to avoid burns
UPDATE:This is a little embarrassing. I wrote a review raving about this coffeemaker and especially the color saying how much I loved it -- but it's the color that prompted me to return my kitchen to the way it was before I bought it: white (see photo). I found that the strength of the teal color distracted me even though it picked up the same color used in other places in my kitchen. So, now I'm packaging the coffeemaker to donate it to Goodwill. Why am I still giving this 5 stars? Because the coffeemaker deserves the praise I gave it just a few days ago. If your kitchen can be improved by a very strong color, go for it.Original review:I had a Keurig in this same shade of teal and loved it, but had to return it because I ended up being allergic to it (long story having to do with K cups and foil lids releasing chemicals when the hot water hits them), so I searched Amazon for a coffee maker that would bring teal back into my kitchen. The coffee maker arrived today and right away I ran two pots of water through it as directed in the instructions. After the first potful I lifted the lid and discovered that steam causes hot water to form on the underside of the lid. I got burned (no big deal,, but not something I want to happen again). The water runs down from the lid and now I know to just let it run and not reach for the filter till it has stopped. The coffee pot is very easy to use, and also lightweight. It's almost like a toy. But it makes good coffee. I can't use the reusable filter because I don't have a disposal and a plumber warned me not to dump coffee grounds down the sink. I bought #2 cone filters to use instead and they work great. In fact the filter was better than the paper filters I'd been using in a Mr. Coffee machine. By that, I mean the coffee was a little less bitter (I like some bitterness from my Folger's Colombian coffee, but reducing it a bit tastes good). The cone filter fit perfectly and was easy to remove and dump. I'm not sure what the cone filter is made of. It doesn't feel like paper. Hard to describe so I won't even try.Because the coffee maker is not fancy and has just an on/off button you can use it with one of Amazon's smart plugs that lets you turn it on and off via your voice. I like that because as soon as I wake up, I tell Alexa to turn on the coffee and by the time I make it to the kitchen, the coffee is already made. I did that for years when I was using my Mr. Coffee (the model with just a on/off switch).I'll probably buy another of these coffee makers just so I'll have one on hand to replace the one I got today if it ever stops working. I hate it when I find something I love and then when I need a new one, I find out it's no longer available. Ditto for the matching toaster which I also received today. I worried the colors would be slightly different because of how the photos looked online, but I worried for nothing because they're perfect twins. The company also offers several other small appliances in the teal color.

Cute but dangerous
The color is absolutely wonderful. That’s why I’m giving this a three. The downsides the coffee pot does not have an automatic shut off, so therefore, if you forget to turn it off, it’s just gonna stay on the entire day. Very unsafe!I also still have to use filters with my coffee pot because I grind my own coffee and the filter does not collect the fine particles of the grounds. The amount of coffee that it says it makes is 5 cups when you load it up to the 5 cup line, it makes about 4 1/2 if you go over the five mark line, it will dump out the back
