Well, folks... It's a sad tale but true. I stumbled and the coffee in my cup shot out and hit my Macbook right in the heart. $950 later... I invested in this delightful lowball thermos... stainless steel cup with a lid. I don't know if the physics of knocking it over will protect me from a spill when the cup is fullish ... but I like it and am willing to take a chance with it next to my computer. The lid fits tight, it's easy to handle, flat bottom and squat figure make it harder to knock it over. I'm happy with it. And if they had a narrower one that could fit into my console I'd buy that too. I like the 'squatness.'

In all honesty I have to say I've only used my cup once. I make myself natural ingredient protein shakes, freeze them and eat them after I finish my workout at the gym. I need my cup to keep the mixture semi frozen (yum) and I've been struggling in finding an easy to use and short cup. I tried this out this morning and it hit all my targets. Easy to use, wide enough to easily scope out my frozen shake, stayed frozen for 4 1/2 hours in my car trunk and easy to clean. If this cup turns out to be as sturdy as it seems I'll be buying a few more of them.

This tumbler is nice, i like it. I did not give it 5 stars because it does not keep coffee hot for more than an hour, at least not in my experience. It might keep cold beverages cold for a lot longer. I tested it at home (coffee only) and it was pretty warm for about an hour (i pre-warmed the cup with almost boiling water). I drank half of it, left the cup closed tight on my counter and i left home to run a few errands. I came back home about 3 hours later and i was just curious to see if the remaining coffee was still warm. Well, unfortunately it was ice cold. Oh well, who takes 3 hours to drink a cup of coffee anyway?! I don't really care and it did not bothered me since i normally do not drink coffee all day. For me, it is not a deal breaker..I normally drink one 10 ounce cup and i am good to go. I really like this cup though, it is nice, light and it closes pretty tight. Since it is spill proof, the black snap cap is a bit tough to snap open. I can see where this might be a potential turn-off for a female with petite fingers. Other than that, it is GREAT!

I bought this specifically so on warm summer evenings I could walk across the street to the park with a nice cold gin & tonic and enjoy a drink while I read or listen to music. Well, it's just OK. The lid does not seal really tightly, with the result that there is some dribbling and I definitely would not put this in a bag to carry it or put it in any other situation where it doesn't remain upright. Also, the lid closure tab doesn't lie flat against the lid when open, so that I keep bumping my nose against it. Not the worst problem, but somewhat annoying. It does keep drinks cold though, and it's a great size for a single drink. 3 out of 5 stars because it's average - not great, but not bad either.

High quality, tough, lid fits nice and tight. I sometimes put a small jar of fruit or vegetable juice in my husband's lunchbox (with ice packs) and he said it wasn't cold when he went for it so I researched small insulated mugs and chose this one because of the lid and their guarantee. It is much nicer than I expected it to be. The only con is, your nose does hit the latch (I thought it swiveled) but that can be lived with. We are very happy with it.

Not leak proof at all. So glad I tested it before putting it into my sons back pack full of milk because it pours out the lid when tipped to sides.

Great product for the price and awesome customer service! Product was able to keep my beverage cold for many, many hours. Lid that came with the product had a slider on it to close the lid so if it tipped, it would not spill! The lid itself even has a gasket for a tight seal! My lid did arrive with a slight crack but Jeremy from customer service- quickly sent a new one which I received in a couple of day. I ordered my second tumbler today!

The lid is great. The coating on the inside of the mug is coming off. I'm not sure if It is safe to drink from it this way. I have only had the mug a month and I typically use it twice a week with coffee or tea.
