Timex Women's Ironman Transit 33mm Watch

The first watch didn’t keep good time - out by five-ten seconds per week - so I had to change the time on a regular basis! Not good enough; so I returned! The replacement came unwrapped and the crown is really, really stiff. The replacement is still as uncomfortable to wear but keeps better time (not as good as a smart watch)! For £45 I expected much, much better so may return the replacement too. I have ordered an Amazfit Bip smartwatch now and this is far, far superior for a fraction of the price. Apart from being completely uncomfortable to wear due to the plastic strap - hard to replace as it’s colour matched - the watch does look quite nice.

I love this watch. I’ve had many Time ex Iron Man versions of watches. I love this waterproof band.It looks like an Apple Watch according to my friends. Was very great value for the quality. Easy to read features on the watch face. The band is great. Only complaint is that the timer reset button is easy to bump, and I’ve had to start timing over again in a sporting event which I wasn’t happy about. Doesn’t have a good light in my opinion for viewing at night. It hasn’t stayed really white because I wear it all the time on sailboats and working in the yard, etc. but it’s a great watch and will clean up easily. Love the white color. I already scratched the face, but it’s very sturdy.

This Timex watch has a feature my Armitron watch doesn't have that I consider essential when you're a mom or the kitchen manager of your home...a countdown timer. Even though cell phones have timers, I prefer not to be tied to my phone all the time. I like how the excess length of the strap is held in place with the notch (also a feature my Armitron doesn't have). I have a small wrist (I keep it in the first notch) and the face size on this watch is perfect. The watch features one alarm setting that can be set to daily, weekdays, or weekends (but not for one-time only); two time zones; a chrono stopwatch; and Indiglo (the digits light up, not the background; and it stays on for about 3-4 seconds). The countdown timer can be set to start as high as 23:59:59. The watch has an optional on/off hourly chime, and the button press has an optional on/off beep sound. The watch looks tough and well made. The purple accents on this dark gray watch give it a nice feminine touch. I might order the purple one for my tween daughter. Update (6/16/24): It's been almost one year since I purchased this watch, and I still love it. I wear it just about all day every day, except when I shower and wash dishes (sometimes, it just depends on the level of the dish water; I don't submerge my watch). I have noticed the notch feature doesn't work like it use to, but that's not a problem for me because the piece that wraps across still holds the band down. All of the features make this watch a great purchase. Also since my first review, my parents got my daughter the purple one this past Christmas and it's working just fine for her.
