I think this is one of the better tire/wheel cleaners for the price. I have it on a subscription for at least a couple of years so I’ve received several bottles. As soon as you spray it on a dirty tire you can see the dirt starting to melt off. It requires brushing to do a good job. Using a brush with medium hard bristles and a pressure washer is better. On my car that I wash weekly I never have to spray a 2nd time. In fact, I sometimes can skip the wheels and tires if I stick to my weekly schedule. If I wash someone else’s car I sometimes apply a 2nd coat to confirm I got all the dirt off and I’m impressed with how well it cleans with just one application. It doesn’t really leave a shine, but it looks clean. I would use gloves though. It feels very slippery if you get it on your hands and who knows what chems are in it. I think I got used to the smell as I’ve been using a couple of years, but I remember it leaving an egg smell and if it gets trapped inside the car you’ll have to air it out. I’ve also bought a Maguires version of the same thing. That one I don’t think smelled but the Turtle Wax seemed to do a better job. I think the pink color helps you know where you need to scrub and where you already cleaned. The foaming action makes it easy to spread and apply.

Brown tires are Black now. Nothing even comes close to the ease and effectiveness of this cleaner. Nothing is better and I have tried the all. Spray on and wait a minute, brush then rinse. TW also makes a Hybrid Tire Shine that is super durable and is the best money can buy. FYI

I was a little skeptical that the Turtle Wax wheel cleaner would be as effective as the marketing information implied. Boy! Was my skepticism misplaced and unwarranted. After reading the directions a couple of times, to ensure I clearly understood them, I applied the product to one wheel on my '92 BMW. The car's wheels have never been cleaned with any wheel cleaner: I preferred to use soap and water. I last cleaned (using soap and water) the wheels about 3 weeks before trying the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner: living in the Seattle area in Feb. - March, one can only imagine how dirty the wheels had become. After washing and drying the vehicle, I turned my attention to each wheel. I applied the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner as directed, agitated the tire and wheel and then dried both the tire and wheel using a cotton towel. The Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner was so effective that each wheel looked cleaner than when I purchased the car in 1992! This 'stuff' is phenomenal and works better than advertised! A few weeks later, I applied the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner to the tires and wheels on my BMW M6 with the same results! Today, about 2 weeks after applying the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner, I performed a quick detail on the M6 and had to do absolutely nothing to the wheels or tires ... this was after 2 weeks of on again, off again rain. I do not know enough positive adjectives to describe how happy I am with this product; how easy it is to use and the quality and durability of the hybrid solution contained within.

Left 4 stars because this is an awesome tire cleaner pulls a lot of brown out of the tires but doesnt clean decently dirty wheels compared to other products I've tried. More elbow grease required for clean wheels. But pretty good product overall doesnt smell to horrible.

This product was recommended to me for use on my new road bike. It cleans well and keeps my new bike shiny.

This stuff is amazing! My tires were brown and blooming - no matter I tried, I couldn't get it off my tires. Soaked them in this and as you can see it came right off, barely any scrubbing.

Let me start off with the pros. This is a great wheel and tire cleaner, and is well thought out in its development. The product goes on even, turns a fun purple color to show the cleaning action, and rinses clean. When drying my wheels and tires after using this and a brush, the drying towel was still clean, zero dirt left over. As a cleaner it is fantastic. I also think this performs better than the products it is attempting to mimic (Adams and P&S Brakebuster). Here’s the catch though….. This product has the same initial/main ingredients as the Turtle Wax Wheel and Tire Cleaner in the green bottle. This product is $13 vs the green bottle that averages under $4 at your local Wally World. The OG green bottle cleans just as well as this product, it just doesn’t turn a fancy purple color or provide a perceived layer of protection. This is not a knock on Turtle Wax, as I support this company fully and use many of their products. My theory is that a few years ago the company started making great products at a very affordable price (Wheel and Tire Cleaner, MAX Wash, ICE Spray Wax, and arguably the best value product in detailing there is, Seal N Shine). However, due to human nature and marketing, many people did not give these products the credit they deserve because they weren’t boutique and overpriced. Now that TW got their chemistry on point, they needed to up the marketing machine and charge way more for products. Do this and VOILA! Now they are reputable. If you want to be the envy of your detailing forum buddies and get that sweet internet approval, buy this product. If you want to save some cash and buy 4 bottles of something that works just as great, get the green bottle.

Fast acting and powerful, it does a great job on the tires and the wheels at the same time. Cleaned wire wheels and wide whitewalls on a 61 Jaguar, when done, they were the best they ever looked.

This is a very powerful product. Gives a strong pungent smell. Do not overuse it might damage your tyres. After spraying use a hand mitt to rub it thoroughly and after 10 mins wash off. Pressure wash is recommended.
