Cardo for Godzilla
Picked up after my son stated I had to get one for my bike/helmet. It works well with my helmet and installed easily. It connected to my phone without any issues and works well with my Samsung Galaxy. The sounds is very nice and crisp and clear. When a call comes in and I'm talking everyone states it doesn't sound like you are on the bike. That is until I hit the throttle and the growl of the engine. So far I've worn it multiple times and the battery life is fantastic. I haven't had to charge it but did so just in case on my last ride. I rode for over an hour and the battery was still full.

Would recommend
Cardo has an easy set up and connections. Range is good and it last for several hours. I charge maybe every other ride. Sounds is good for music and mics are clear. Easy volume control and the app is great and easy to use.

Pretty impressed
A little better than my 10 year old Sena. The sound quality is 50% better. I didn't really think I would use the voice commands, but now that is just about all I use. If I had a complaint it would be having to go through the pairing process, every time I wanted to connect to other riders still using the Sena systems (SMH10R). I was told it wouldn't work at all, but it connects right up and works well. The problem is, once the connection is broken, by powering off or getting out of range, I have to go through the pairing process again. Maybe my riding partners will eventually switch over.

Great device, sounds great, looks great.
I love this product. I used to do the airpods under the helmet and it was a pain in the ass every time I took the helmet off. Sound quality is nice, only thing is that the treble can get pretty high when turning the volume up, I would recommend wearing earplugs while wearing your helmet. Installation was pretty easy, took me maybe about 15 minutes without instructions; pretty easy if you use common sense. The speakers fit perfectly in my Shoei RF-Sr, as they have cut outs that perfectly fit the 40mm JBL speakers. It's also pretty comfortable so long as the wiring is done properly. My phone connects to the headset upon start up every time and there haven't been any hiccups with connectivity. The quality of the device itself is nice too; the latch that hooks onto the lip of the helmet is thick and sturdy, the actual device that powers everything is sturdy and stays on the connecting piece really well so I never have to worry about it falling off while riding. There's also the mesh tech for when you're riding in a group, but I haven't been able to use that. The only complaint I have about it is when using "hey, siri", i have to say it a couple of times. It might be me having to use my big boy voice or it might be the placement of the mic inside the helmet. Either way, it's still a great and convenient piece of tech to own if you're a daily rider.

Excellent form of communication with otherr riiders of motorcycles.
Works fine with Bluetooth capability. Fits perfect on my agv helmet. Sound clarity is very good love the excellent sound from the speakers crystal clear.

Terrible voice chat.
I've had the same set for about 5 years now with zero issues. The side buttons are getting a little worn, and the terrible dial position means that with a jacket on I accidentally roll it, but it works great. They are a bit annoying to install with the thin wiring, and doing so will be harder or easier depending on your helmet and how the internal padding is held in place (Shoei has the best padding but also makes hiding the wires a bit more annoying with how they attach). The best thing to do: Buy one with the 45mm speakers, or buy them separately. The upgraded speakers are significantly better. I didn't realize this until I bought a second helmet kit that came with the regular ones. I bought the upgrades so long ago (about a year after having it) that I forgot how different it is. Why one star? The quality of chatting with my lady is just bad. The system they use doesn't allow to change the volume of voice chat and music separately. This means that often I cannot hear what she is saying over my music, and sometimes I can't hear my music without having her voice blow out my ear drums. It's inconsistent and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. The person to person voice quality is pretty bad also, which is confusing because the phone call quality is actually really good. I often can't tell the difference between her phone and the helmet. Then. we ride together, and the voice quality is so much lower using the voice chat system. It doesn't make any sense. So that being said 9/5 stars if you are solo all the time 1/5 if you want to ride with friends. Also, the battery life after 5 years is about 60% of the original. I rode several times from Chicago to London Ontario without charging it, though it would be low on battery. Now a days I have to take it off about half way through and let it full charge to reach London without it dying. That said, you can charge and ride, so if you want to make that uncomfortable move, you can.

Great tool, easy hookup.
great tool! Lasts upwards of 7 hours of continued use as a music player at medium-volume (between 8 and 11 volume through my phone's player.) It connects to the phone quickly, and is exceptionally clear when taking calls. Though i haven't had a chance to try the microphone for calls. It also doesn't have any issue hearing my commands when using the cardo voice commands to switch songs or raise/lower volume. It does struggle a little bit with making calls though, but i'm going to chalk that up to my own error.

So far the Cardo Freecom 4X sounds great and was relatively easy to install (with guidance from a YouTube video). It arrived two days early, which is nice, but also no notice of this. Honestly as a first time Amazon purchaser.. And from another country too, I was just glad it was an actual cardo in the box. Have yet to try the “Hey Cardo” feature, but I’m hopeful as everything else seems to be in order.
