Use the right batteries and there’ll be no problema with hot WiZmote
I’ve read many reviews about these remotes getting hot. But no one mention the kind of batteries they’re using. When you open the compartment to install the batteries- it says in big letters inside-FOR USE WITH ALKALINE BATTERIES ONLY (LR03) - it also comes with 2 of them. I’ve enclosed foto of that. Don’t replace the batteries with lithium ion batteries or anything but alkaline LR03. For the good stuff-the remotes are awesome. Pair easily and you can set 4 different modes then adjust the brightness by pressing the plus or minus to increase or decrease dimming. It’s that simple, you just have to set your favorite modes up in the app and that’s it. They will be available on your remote. Another thing to note is, they will control the bulbs that they are connected to for example, if you only have one bulb in the room and you pair it with that, it will control that one bulb but if you group all the bulbs together, let’s say you have seven bulbs in the room, and you put them in a group, they will all be controlled by the remote simultaneously. Whatever color you choose, all of those seven bulbs will be exactly the same brightness or dimness, depending on what you do. If you have two groups of lights in the room, they will only control one group just keep that in mind unless you group all of the lights together. For the price, you can buy enough to power all your lights on in your house if that’s what you want to do. They connect quickly and easily, and the price was great. I purchased more than one for this very reason. In addition to the four modes that you have for colors, there’s also a moon button on the remote and that is a nightlight. You have two options for the remote, you can leave your light switches on ( standby) and just control the ON - OFF with the remote or you can shut the switch that controls your lights and then when you turn them on with the switch, you can let the remote take over. Really love having these remotes in the house for different lights as our house only has WiZ lights so more WiZmotes made sense. Definitely recommend!

Good for a Single Room
The Wiz remote light switch works with Wiz Smart Bulbs to allow you to turn them off and on and set one of four programs. The remote is the size of most remotes for TVs etc. and has a few buttons on the face. You can connect it to a single light bulb or to all the bulbs in a room. (When you install Wiz Smart Bulbs you can choose a room that they are in and then control all the bulbs at once based on the room.) The basic function is on or off. However there is a button for "night light" mode and a + and - control for brightness and four other buttons. Each of the four buttons can be programmed to set the light(s) to a pre-determined setting such as daylight, warm white, relaxing, etc. When the bulbs are installed and connected to the app you just go into the app and add the remote switch. Then while in the app you choose what each of the four customizable buttons does. It makes it easy to choose from one of the presets. After connecting everything up (bulbs and remote switch) which takes only minutes and choosing the programs for the lights the switch is ready to use and you don't have to use the app to control those settings. However all the same things could be done using the app on your smart phone. The one drawback and the reason for four stars instead of five is the the remote can be used for only one room. If you have set up multiple rooms and want to use a remote for each room you will need to have a remote for each room, you can press a button and switch the remote to a different room. I have found the remote to be reliable, it has never failed to control the lights in the room we set it up in. Connectivity is great and easy to set up. The price is good (so purchasing more than one isn't a big expense but mark the in some way so you know which goes where!

Super easy to set up
I have Wiz smart lights in my home and while I can control them from the app on my phone and with Alexa, I wanted a backup in case the internet goes out. This remote paired with the lights effortlessly and works as it should. The remote will only address one room. The wiz app lets me address which lights I want to control in that room, or I can turn them all on or off at once.

Good quality and just works
These are great, I love the option. Buttons work and the connection never seemed to drop. (Actually seemed more reliable than the app). I do just wish the lights themselves worked for longer.

A great option for rooms without a switch
Easy to set up. Controls multiple lights set up in a single room. (Can also be set for a single light) Turns on/off, dims and can rotate through 4 different colors/themes. A great option for guests not to have to remember what I have called things.

WiZ Remote - Great Value, Useful, but Limited Buttons
I give the WiZ Remote 5 stars for its usefulness and great value. It's a handy addition to my smart lighting setup, although I wish it had more buttons. I primarily use these remotes with WLED. The WiZ Remote offers smart dimming, allowing me to adjust the brightness level easily through the app or voice control. Setting it up is a breeze, as it works with my existing 2.4GHz Wi-Fi The remote provides smart control, enabling me to manage my lights from anywhere using the app or voice commands. It's convenient for inviting family members and guests to control the lights without altering my settings.

Worst Gift Ever! Does not work with standard WIFI Settings
Worst gift for a teenager ever! Does not work with standard home WIFI! Poor limited instruction included. Customer service says to downgrade WiFi to link it. Really?! The App and remote will not work without linking to 2.4 WiFi. So these “amazing” smart lights that we installed all over my son’s room as a cool gift…Now just blink randomly in seizure mode with no way to control them other than on and off. A simple set of lights with a working remote would have even been better.

Works like a charm was easy to set up.. saves opening a stupid app to use lights.. only issue you can only use it with one group of lights.. so if you have bunch of different areas you would need one per, would be excellent if it had 3 or 4 areas...4 buttons so could charge which set it controls.. that's would be excellent

Buen producto ya que alexa pierde mucho la conexion con los focos Wiz, fue un poco difícil configurar y si le quitas la batería o golpeas vuelve a perder la configuración, fuera de eso funciona bien
