There's nothing I could think about this product that falls short of my expectation. It's affordable and took about five minutes to install. Longevity wise I'll let you know if it doesn't last as my last one.

Price and work good

Good replacement. I finally can have my huge and heavy hood open without fearing it closing on me and being eaten by the engine bay. If they fail prematurely i will come back and revise this review.

Perfect fit and strength for the 2005 Mercedes S500 hood.

Part appeared to be of good quality. I installed them quickly and they worked perfectly. Recommend this item.

11-19-2022 (01-17-2022)Was advertised as direct replacement for 2004 M-Benz S430 W220 Sedan Basic...NOT.Returned due to Not As Advertised. Although I provided pix and detailed description and explanations of my experience with their product,...Still, I was requested to bring the vehicle for an in-person inspection, and possibly find or make something fit. Within 30 miles one way. No compensation offer. No Go! OEM is the only way to properly replace repair these Trunk Support Struts. Do not substitute the original Design, it was done this way for a reason.=====================================Aftermarket Trunk Supports do not hook onto Body mounting bracket. Requires a Ring Connector. Does not have OEM Outer Spring.Fronts were not tried, but look like they might work.Sold as a SET Of 2 Front Engine Compartment Hood and 2 Trunk.

Great replacement for my old struts. Easy to install.
