What is the actual download speed that can be achieved with this adapter with a Wifi 6 or 6e wireless router and pver 1,200 mbps actual download speed

I had an AC adapter which worked fine. This is an upgrade to that. The AX adapter speed is running at 1.2 Ghz receiving signal from an AX router. Movie and music streaming work well. Of course this is working well on Windows 11 on non-supported hardware support from Microsoft. Can't complain cause newer OS made all work better, not worse! Best of luck!!

Yes, it works on Win 11 and 10 / On 11 I had problems reading the driver CD ...An email to the seller received no response, l made a copy to a USB flash to install. An old Win 10 was OK! The problem...It did not boost the signal as expected on either system. system. Possibly my layout and distance to the router. Can'I install on the Chrome OS devices. I have Xfinity Wifi with 600/24 mbps speed on my home network... I'm not returning...

How come this claims to be wifi 6, but there is no ax option when choosing protocol in the driver settings?

I had the same doubts but After I connected it, I checked the connection information in Windows and there it says : wifi 6 . BTW I tested it on a wifi 5 pc but it was a wifi 6 connection through this adaptor.

Thought I would have to take my laptop in when the network card went out. This was much cheaper and easy to set up. Note: For me, I do not need to open the wings, and it works great and passed all the tests AI threw at it. pdd

Worked in a pinch.

It really increased my wifi speed to my desktop which was on the opposite end of my house.

it is not compatible with windows 7 pro, sp1

While I am sure this is a good wifi device, it will NOT install on Windows 7 pro, sp1 as the digital signature of the device driver will not be recognized. Even if you turn off device signing, it still will not recognize and you will not be able to use it.

Probably excellent if you have modern equipment and OS

Did not work for me. Tried to use it on raspberry pi to create an access point. The power supply on the pi is marginal for usb devices that draw significant current and the AP software does not support this device. Probably great if you have the right pre-requisites

Brilliant Upgrade from WIFI4

This the product you need to upgrade from an older WIFI to WIFI6 and Windows 11! It only took a couple of minutes to disable the old WIFI using 'Device Manager' and then installing the WIFI6 dongle. You will need a dvd/cd to set up the device initially. Speed jumped from 20-25mb/ps to 450! BLAM!
