Always with you
Its the camera that I have with me every day, all the time, as its small, does not take up a lot of space, has long battery life, starts up and takes pictures very quickly and image quality is excellent. I prefer buttons to touchscreens, but I got used to this one and it works pretty well. Can operate the camera by one hand only, including the zoom, to take pictures, for example if I catch an interesting light on a building while walking on the street. Low light scene programs work very well, took a few night skyline and fireworks shots recently. You will need a mini tripod or a Joby Gorillapod for that. The T2 really lived up to my expectations as the point and shoot that's always ready. It complements well my film cameras that I use for more elaborate photography.

Is it worth the price?
I cant say this camera was worth $320. I can say that the picture quality is more then decent if what youre looking for is to be able to take shots quickly. If youre at a club, bar, beach, backyard BBQ, whatever, its great. If youre a enthusiast that takes pics of birds in low light settings, you dont use digital cameras anyway. Im a novice looking for decent/good/great pics in normal situations and I want to be able to load these pics on my laptop with ease. I want a uncluttered display, easy to understand choices without having to read a novel for instructions on how to use this and that. If this is you also then this camera will fit your needs too...it will just lighten your wallet a little. Im sure there are other digital cameras that will do the same without the price though. The 4GB internal is not as bad as some have said on here, its easy to transfer the pics you have taken to a SD card, you DO NOT have to use the USB cable for this if you have a card, I have a 4Gb card so its 8 GB altogether. YOU DO however have to transfer the pics to a card, you cant just take the pics and have them directed to the card. What a pain right?? Its not that serious. The touch screen is fun and easy to use. I dont see anything wrong with this camera, but its a Sony, youre going to pay for the name.

The best ultra slim camera.
It could be the best camera for you but only if you first read the manual and take some minutes taking pictures. The unique problem with this camera happend when you set the ISO in 800 to 3200 because some white points appears in the picture but you can fix this problem taken pictures with flash o flash FL. The LCD screen is very good and is no problem if you touch the screen with your fingers, it always show you a good picture, but be carefull using the pencil because it print some ruges in the screen. It's a practical camera because the memory internal hepls you to take a lot of pictures for many days. And the case is pretty, it looks very well.

Too Complicated
I decided to upgrade from my older Sony CyberShot and was unsatisfied with the touch screen function. Also, the camera has a few buttons on the sides, but they are entirely too hard, so I'd have to press down on them anytime I wanted to use them, which was frequently. I gave it a star because the style is the best I've seen from Sony by far.

Takes Horrible Photos
I bought this camera in Tokyo in November. It was the overseas version, i.e.: the one they will be selling in the States Dec 10, 2007. I am usually more methodic when purchasing electronics, especially cameras, but I leapt into this one and feel sick about it. It is a magnificent looking camera, has a wonderful touch screen that works very well. I could list all kinds of nice things about this camera, but it is all for nothing because it takes horrible pictures! I thought my first one was lemon, as I didn't think Sony could send such a poor quality product to the market. I exchanged it with almost certainty that I had just got the bad one in the batch. Well, my second one is just as bad. I really thought Sony was better than this. I have loved past Sony products, but this was my first Sony camera. It will definitely be the only Sony camera I ever own. I have played with the settings and tried to get the most out of it with little or no success. All that really just defeats the purpose anyway. I was looking for a small point and shoot that would yield a picture as good or better than my larger 5.1 Canon I bought 5 years ago. Nothing seems to be able to top that camera, including the Olympus 790SW 7.1 mp (although the Olympus blows away this Sony T2 and it is water and shock proof to boot!) that I also recently purchased. Maybe my bar is too high, but I really don't think so. I also bought a much cheaper 3.1 MP Nikon compact about two years ago as a gift for a young person that made better images than this Sony T2. It really makes me sick to my stomach to think I am stuck with this paperweight.
