I really like this monitor, especially the movement pad as it gives us that extra reassurance that our baby is moving while he is sleeping. The set up was easy and only took a couple minutes to get used to the controls. It is definitely appears to be higher quality than the last two monitors we had from other companies. The video and sound quality are very good. Again, love the pad.

This monitor replaced another video monitor I had. Pros: 1. Screen is HUGE and has a much better picture than my previous monitor. Colors and contrast are great and I can clearly see my child and tell what is going on while they are in the crib. 2. Temperature on the parent unit is very helpful and convenient. Helps me make sure it isn't too cold during these winter nights! 3. Sound is fantastic- can keep it pretty quiet at night & no problem with sound in noisy rooms. 4. Mobility- the magnetic unit was super easy to position and change especially when traveling- makes is so nice to carry the monitor with you! Cons: 1. Touch responsiveness is slower than I expected but still okay 2. Pad: I have not used the pad due to my child being older and not needing that monitoring, however, taking it off of the alarm took some figuring out- it was not clearly stated how to do this in the directions. Overall I like the unit much better than my previous monitor. The screen clarity, sound, and convenience is fantastic. I would purchase again!

Update - not even 1 year of use and it died and won’t work. Of course it’s now out of warranty. Wish I had just spend the extra money and bought an Owlet. Cons - Random static on parent unit False alarms when I can actually see baby moving Picture not the clearest It has night mode but at sometimes it goes back and forth between the modes and can’t ‘decide’ which one to stay on, changing every couple of seconds.

For the price I was expecting a nice monitor we could use for years and future babies, however with baby number one still needing a monitor I’m now looking for a new one. The camera that goes in the room works pretty well, I don’t know that the temperature reading is very accurate though. We never used the motion detector that goes under the mattress. The parental unit is the worst. I only give this three stars cause it did it’s job for a few months and it was okay, but not great quality and my child grabbed the unit ONCE and dropped it ( at 10 months old so not even two feet off the ground ) and now the screen is broken and I can barely see anything.

I could not pair the wireless movement sensor to the parent unit. I followed the directions - nothing. I called and emailed angelcare support but maybe they were all out for the holiday. I didn't feel it was worth troubleshooting. For $229 the technology is super outdated. I'm returning it. Disappointing.
