Eh, you may not really need it.
It functions great and is great for another option instead of hooking up your PC by USB, but I don’t find myself using it much. Maybe once I have established a decent library and want to change them on the fly, I may use it more (it’s quite easy), but the interface on the app just doesn’t have the features in the program.It’s a great product and does what it’s supposed to do, I just don’t know if I’d re-buy it knowing that I’m not really using it.

Works
I'm a little annoyed this isn't built in to the amp but I love my MK 3 Katana so I'll just review this part. This does exactly what it's supposed to and gives the katana Bluetooth capability. Easy to install and connect, no issues at all. Of course since I had to plug in to update the firmware, I really don't use the Bluetooth very much anyway. Oh well. Like I said it works and when on the road and I don't want to take my laptop out to fiddle with amp settings it's a nice addition.

Nice item to have for your Boss katana Gen 3
Work's without a glitch, only use it when accessing different pedals within the Boss katana 50 Gen 3 I own. But it serves it's purpose well.

Works as it should
Received quickly and no instructions on installing or setting up, quite easy though. Little iffy on the connection but it did work and as I was playing my grandson would change sounds in the app, within milliseconds it would changed sound on the amp. Really dislike the price increase since last week but it is what it is. Only reason for the 4 stars is the price increase and it should have been included on the amp. I'll mess with it more later and see what I can figure out

Worked fine right away
Worked perfectly right out of the gate with my Squire CV 70's Strat and Boss Katana EX Gen 3 amp. I'm using both Spotify and Ultimate Guitar with my phone via bluetooth. Have not used the software or tried anything other than playing along with the above.

Great but should’ve been included
This product should have just come built into the katana. But with that said it’s awesome and I love it.
