Works fine. Hope it was cheaper.

This tape is incredibly thin. It's basically Saran Wrap. It stretches so far, with very little elasticity. Almost impossible to get a good seal.

As far as grafting this tape will hold avocado scions in place, but it's big draw back is that it creates condensation in abundance. I tried about 15 stump and veneer grafts and all were saturated to the point of creating rot. The graft points turned dark and the head of the stumps rotted. Even the band around the tree where the plastic was wrapped turn dark and became saturated. The scions began rotting at their base and continued upward. This is in San Diego where the weather is fine and very little rain was involved in this venture. In the future I will use it for holding the cambium layer together when I debark. The bark or cambium layer on my avocado trees is fairly thin and when I debark with a micro lab dose spoon sometimes the spoon gets away from me and tears through the bark. The layer of tape helps this. I will be moving onto using cable or zip ties and grafting wax. 2 days later - The ties work great, but the wax I bought was highly impractical to apply. It solidified quickly after heating and during application. Terrible, the heated wax injured the scion. I am trying water based latex caulk. The caulk when applied to a needed thickness to cover took several days to harden. 2 days later I am using a wax toilet bowl gasket. Apply with a putty knife then spread and shape as needed with vegietable oiled rubber gloves or just oiled fingers. The very light coat of oil keeps the wax from sticking to your fingers. Excellent!

unfortunately this is not actually self adhesive, it’s just like all other grafting tape. Disappointed
