Absoutely brilliant for one or two people, holds more than you would think and works perfectly ! Food steamed in it tastes so much better than anything cooked by the more "traditional" method of boiling .Very easy to use and easy to clean , excellent value !

What can I say? It does what it's supposed to do. The steam release works well, the plastic is appropriately solid and it doesn't buckle in the microwave. It can also go through the dishwasher quite safely. The colour is good although it will pick up colour from food - usually tomato based foods - but that's fairly standard.

Great product for steaming veg in the microwave if only cooking for 2-3 people. I bought mainly for cooking toddlers veg portions if what the adults are having wasn’t suitable. It’s not massive in size but I’d say would fit about a large head of broccoli cut up in

Functional, size is enough for two people, have used it to steam vegetables and have been pleased with the results. Just put water in the bottom up to the tray level, pop veggies in, cover with lid, pop open vent, and place in microwave, couldn’t be any easier. Can withstand a 1000 w heat. Doesn’t take up space, a handy little gadget.Recommended

Its OK and contrary to some of the critical reviews, it is a steamer. Water up to thee bottom of the slotted tray and open the vent. It boils the water which steams the veg - simples. But it does get very hot and its difficult to get the veg out once cooked. I cooked a Jersey Royal potato in it in 6 mins but it went an odd grey colour with a few minutes. But have a ever cooked new potato's in a microwave before? No I haven't

A little bit disappointing, would have liked a bit more space at the bottom for water. I did the measurements but looks smaller in real life.I’ll give it ago and see if it’s up to scratch!After using this a few times now. I thought I would need more water in the bottom! But using the required amount was ample. Very impressive.

well, somebody suggested a vegetable microwave cooking bowl and lid, and it is a game changer! Taken a couple of attempts to get the timing right but this is amazing - 5 mins for carrots is too long. It is quite strong and doesn't bend as it come out of the microwave. Downside - I had to get the magnifying glass to read the instructions. Basically it is absolutely brilliant. Looks good too. Easy to clean. Why did it take me so long to try microwaving veggies?
