difference between silver and gold pedals?

The silver one has a “voice” Switch that the gold one lacks. The switch has 2 positions, one that seems to provide more boost than the other.

Does this have the klon buffer in it? is this buffered bypass?

I believe these units are True-Bypass. I’ve been on multiple forums and they suggested that only the original Klons or the more expensive clones have the Buffered-Bypass.

Is this a low,medium,or high gain overdrive?

It's based on the Klon Centaur pedal, which is a low to medium gain pedal with an emphasis on mid range. Sounds pretty good for this type of application.

What other overdrive would be good to stack with this one?

I like to stack a fuzz face in front of it! 😂
