Good quality double socket!
Worked well for my purpose! Although I've had a bit of issue getting rv (9 volt) bulbs to work in it! You'll want a small style bulb so it screw on enough to meet post inside socket! I had a larger bulb and the bulb would not work because the part that screws into the socket was not long enough and the bulb hit the socket and would not allow me to screw it in fast enough! Just something to keep in mind regardless of regular bulb or 9 volt bulb use!

Works exactly as one would expect. Just be sure to source your own locknut.
House had an old single bulb socket in a kitchen fixture and Installed this in order to get by with 2x 60w bulbs instead of 1x 100w bulb. The idea being to decrease shadows but also to lower the profile of the fixture by pointing the bulbs sideways rather than down. It worked just fine, and I accomplished my goals. Some people complain the it doesn't come with a locknut. This is true, so if you are replacing another socket save the old locknut or go to any hardware store and get a 1/8" locknut in the lamp section ahead of time.

I had to install some lights outside of my apartment building and these were the perfect fit and easy to install.

Exactly what I needed
My old fluorescent ballast went out and instead of replacing it with a new ballast, this was the perfect replacement to start using normal light bulbs. I had to get a $5 bracket from Home Depot to mount it since the electric box and light fixture didn't have the 1/8 IP threaded hole. But, it worked perfectly.

Missing part
This is exactly what I needed to repair a lamp-holder in an aquarium lid. HOWEVER, it did NOT come with a NUT to hold it in place! Took me 45 minutes going through my supply of left-over junk parts to find one that worked OK. Quality-Control obviously sucks! Thus only 3 stars.

Exactly what I needed.
Bought this to replace the socket in an existing ceiling fixture that was for one of those compact fluorescents. Had to do a little head scratching but it works, and helped me avoid spending $ for an entire new fixture.

My dad used this to retrofit one of his floor lamps previously using a hard to find fluorescent bulb (ring shaped). It worked perfectly - the lamp now has 2 A19 LED bulbs that produce a comparable amount of light!
